I seriously have fantasized about so many super groups I don’t know which one to say.

I think one of my favorites is Tricky and whoever he’s working with at the moment (he almost always uses a womans vocals in his music without it being a collab), MIA, Tech N9ne, and ICP

And you set it up like it’s super secret, no promo no mention of it from any of their camps. They just all go to J’s place and crank it out over a weekend like they did with killjoy club but it’s weirder and more varied because they’re all so different.

Then when they release it, it looks like it has a four horsemen of the apocalypse type gimmick, but it’s more subtle and less obvious than it looks. Tech is reppin’ red for war, ICP are for Death, Tricky sporting black for famine, and MIA with her skin painted green for Conquest. And mostly they just make songs that they want to make. Tech doing his gangster shit, icp doing the wicked shit, tricky doing his poverty stricken council estate shit, and MIA doing her dancey “my people are being murdered” shit. But like i said, it would be so much more than just the surface of it. 

And each camp would bring production to the table.

They’d do some weird video shit that doesn’t feature them in the videos but rather is like news clips and films stitched together, some new footage but where you can’t see who they are.

And they just upload the album to youtube. to get the word out, all four of them tweet at the same time that they found a cool new band but they don’t know what to make of them.

and with the exception of icp and tech, they’re pretty separate in terms of genre and audience, in terms of the mainstream world. So it’d be awesome to hear people trying to figure out who the people are. 

And it’d be a bit awesome to see what people think of the different artists doing different kinds of shit. ICP fucking with trip hop shit. MIA spitting over a wicked shit kinda beat. Tricky going hard on some gangsta shit.
