Thanks for the advice scrubb. I havent ever done mixing before and as you can see my production value is fairly simplistic. BUt I will definitely take it on board and get better
If you need ANY kind of advise hmu. (I really mean that fam) And I know this goes without saying…..but if you ever wanna get schooled on 101 Mixing Vocals bounce over to youtube and get your search on! That shit can be a life saver sometimes. Sometimes if I want to learn something new what I like to do is, Ill find it on youtube and leave both screens up (youtube and my DAW) Your DAW is your Digital Audio Workstation – DAW = What ever program your using to record your vocals into. Usually all DAW’s have all the basic functions to make great sounding audio tracks. EQ’s, Compression, Delays, Reverb shit like that to beef up your lead vocals. You’d be amazed when you start learning these tools how much BETTER your vocals begin to sound!

yeah that’s definitely the plan. im using magix samplitude for mixing atm, but ive got FL studio and reason 5 (reccomended by my producer homie cos its what he uses lol). im gunna stick with magix atm cos i understand it the easiest. ive just gotta find time to check out videos haha
