Twiztid has uploaded “For The Fam vol.2” on Datpiff.com. This version does not have Part 2 of Fritz’s mix and Twiztid Fuck Shop.

Twiztid’s For the Fam Vol. 2″ Free Dowload @ Datpiff.com

Good move on Twiztid’s part. Datpiff did Wayne’s last mixtape. They should get way more exposure.

Wasn’t she supposed to drop an album called “Astrologically Incorrect”?

http://juggalos.wikia.com/wiki…..Tali_Demon says
Tali Demon is an American rapper from Alabama. In 2007, she signed to the Psychopathic Records sublabel Hatchet House, making her the first female artist to sign with The Hatchet. While signed, she found herself having artistic disagreements with the label, and a dispute with Psychopathic CEO Billy Bill. She states that while she had wanted to work with her own producer, Special K, the label told her that she needed production by Mike E. Clark to sell her debut. Tali Demon came to a mutual decision with Psychopathic to be released from her contract, and later stated that she is still on good terms with the label. She plans to release her debut album, Astrologically Incorrect, on Area 51 Music.

I listened to it earlier today, and overall I really enjoyed it.

I thought the mixtape was awesome. Gave it a few listens already and I like most of it. Don’t really care much for the skits but they were funny yes. I thought J’s quick hating cheapshots during the Martini Bros was funny. Good to hear Syn around again too.

I wish some of the songs were longer too. Mind Goes Mad is the shit. Don’t care much for Ritz really. The Fritz tracks were fire, I love his production and his sound. I prefer the original version of Monstrosity. And the Lotus track is cool too. Has a different sound from most Lotus tracks but I can see why it wasn’t on any of the past releases. Cool track though. I enjoyed the Zodiac tracks too. I’d like to hear ROC and Blaze on some Wu beats again for sure. That’s my review in a nut shell. Good release, looking forward to an album for sure. Twiztids the shit.

Listened to it twice through today for the first time. Overall, a very solid album, with not very much at all that I didn’t like. The skits were funny, but will be tracks that I don’t sync to the iPod so I don’t have to skip them when listening through the album. I LOVED the Fritz track that was four songs in one…DOPE SHIT right there. The only one I didn’t care for was the first Zodiac Imprint track (Gettin’ Wu Wit It). The vocals were too low, and it just didn’t sound like it was mixed as well as the rest of the album. And the knife sharpening kind of sound in the beat was too loud and shrill for me. I loved the remix of Badside with Ritz, and was impressed as well with the Monstrosity remix since I like almost none of MEC’s remixes. Definitely enjoyed it.

^ I wasn’t slamming it…it’s not a bad song, but it sounds different from the rest of the album. At times, the beat obscures the voices, and it was the only one where I noticed that the volume needed to be adjusted because of the too-loud knife sharpening type sound in the beat. If it had been mixed differently, I wouldn’t have had anything negative to say about the whole album. But really, it’s a minor annoyance.

skipped through the skits and such.

monstrosity stood out;  mostly, the rest is merely interesting.  cool, but not especially great.

where have i heard layaway before?

Not sure where you would have heard the whole thing.  Chorus sounds very similar to the OG Wrong Wit Me single.  Probably same era is my guess.

maybe.

until it got to the point where you could find most rare stuff on the internet, i used to collect unreleased and bootleg shit.  stuff that would get somebody in trouble for letting it out [ive known more than a couple shady juggalos, and notably lettes, who had access].

mind you, i did not put any of this stuff out myself, just snatched it up, listened to it, and dropped in the box.

concert videos, too, which once upon a time could get you in trouble for making.  again, didnt film them, just traded for the tapes, and kept them for my own.  [i have a big gripe about this with someone, actually…  i bought a tape for a pfos tour concert, on the understanding that its the one copy in existence, and now, somehow, its on youtube.  i suspect my ex-girlfriend copied the digital transfer i made, and gave it out to whoever.  but back to the program]

i looked through the box the other day, and it seems a good chunk of material is missing [again, i suspect the ex], but im thinkin it was probably something like that, some tape or cd i traded for with some groupie, or whatnot.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

This reminds me, does anyone have a decent quality of the original Wrong With Me? Ever copy I have ever found sounds like it was recorded with a potato.

I felt exactly the same way when I heard Layaway. Like…I’ve definitely heard that song before. The closest thing I could think of was Home by Three Day’s Grace, which has a vaguely similar chorus. But I still think I’ve heard it somewhere before.

another possibility:  it mightve been one of those icp hotline hookups, where they would put up an unreleased song, or part of it, for a day or two.  or the like.

im fairly sure it was that exact song, though, as opposed to something similar.

Seems like Lotus was going for a more rock oriented sound when they first formed.

I Don’t Care is a pretty rockish lotus song. And it’s the shit.

Blood rains down from an angry sky! My cock rages on! My cock rages on!

Echoside isn’t that rockish.

Maybe its my laptop playing the music but am I the only one thinking that this mix tape is behind a veil, or a cushion? something stopping the beats coming through? especially the DL track and mutant tracks? lyrics are ok but the sound is off IMO

A new label has been announced… is that an improvement as it covers psy strange and subnoize if you follow the food chain…

I don’t get the hate. I kind of look at this mixtape like a cryptic collection. I thought it was pretty fresh.
