how is it they make less than so many people and have no gold or plat, but all their cd’s are so much harder to find? all their stuff is like always sold out or way overpriced. whereas icp’s shit is abudnant? like it seems twiztid albums get ate the fuck up, yet they make so much less money/have no record sales to show their popularity

they have never had any real professional promotion from psychopathic, so they dont really get that much exposure.
they got most of their exposure through collabing with non psychopathic artists, because people like prozak, krizz kaliko and tech n9ne sing praise for tehm mroe then icp ever did.
and twiztid were just icp sidekicks as far as the rest of the world is concerned. its not that shit gets picked up faster, its that less gets printed so it makes shit rarer.
the juggalos know and respect twiztid but outside that the fanbase would be pretty small i would say. breaking away from psychopathic could be their big leap into ‘real hip hop’.

You gotta figure when a Twiztid cd sells, J and Shaggy get a cut. Im sure anything of Twiztids that has the Hatchetman on J and Shaggy get a cut of it. Also, their shit is harder to find b/c less copies are pressed these days (I think). Green Book is out of print again. Psychopathic probably doesnt want to keep pressing it again and again. Places like Best Buy prolly only carrier more of their newer stuff. More and more mom and pop stores are going under and thier the ones that usually carried all their music.

last psy release i seen was prolli bpb.
i still find old ass copies of milenko green and shit tho. the occasioanl bizaar bizzar but thats about it.
thats fucked man, because i hate ordering from hatchetgear because its like a lucky dip, ive only gotten full order correct like twice out of 10+ times. and i never bother returning shit because being overseas its just a plain old headfuck.
strange on the other hand gets to me in like 10 days and i never had anything come through incorrect.
hopefully twiztid will distrib to aus once tehy pick up, but i am hitting up that twiztid shop soon for a fucking massive order, love their new merch.

I havent had a problem with Hatchetgear yet. I’ve had alot of orders in the last year. I get my orders in less than a week. I have only ordered from Strange once so far. My order will be here tommorrow and I ordered Sunday. So, looks like no problem so far with them either. I have another order to put in soon if the 50% off will still be going. Strange need to come down on the prices of their cd’s. Full albums that have been out for 2 or 3 years are still $18.98.
