esham got a lot of love throughout his career but for sure he is one of the most slept on. what the fuck about mastamind though? he is just now getting a lil recognition. “the mindzi” from 2000 was the shit. i havent really been listening to his shit lately so im also to blame. ima get his newer albums after i finish my esham/natas cd catalog, only need boomin and multikillionaire

i think thats impossible.. 

It’s not only possible that the person with the illest rap skills ever has never made a recording, it’s a mathematical certainty. The number of albums made vrs. the number of possible contenders (the whole human race) is not a proportional representation. The illest skills don’t get you a recording contract and or public fame, good luck and awesome timing make or break artists. I would say most of the best artists die before thier greatness reveals itself. They die as they lived, nobodies.

even cats who never made a record will be known at least locally.. even if its extremely slight… & someone technically isnt being slept on if theyre making zero effort to be heard which in this day & age is extremely easy.. & yes im well aware skill doesnt equal success..
