Upstate NYer myself.. we def have a superb lineup in the city, but upstate is few and far between. I fucking hate the local horror core acts. My boy went to the show of a horrorcore artist he met working at Pizza-Hut, and there was literally no one there besides employees. Not even the close friend/hype man that usually stands around those artists by the stage, if the bar has a stage. Never heard anything even halfway decent out of Rochester or Buffalo or surrounding areas. Anyone else?

I’d definitely give mention to Denver and all of Wisconsin. The rest of that is pretty much spot on.

Much Love!

Nope. I remember back in the day there was FPC (False Profits Coalition.) Last I checked, and admittedly I’m absent from the scene, AJ Jordan was the only horrorcore-ish MC doing anything of note in WNY

EDIT: Oh, and I remember a group called Shock Therapy out of Rochester I got a sampler from back in the day. I think one of them, Death Child, was in the Underground Psycho’s contest. They weren’t anything great, but they had a few songs I enjoyed.

im not sure if this should be dripping or not.

i didnt bring up missouri, because the horrorcore/juggalo musician scene is not half as strong here as it was a decade ago.

every other band has a beef with whoever.  not many of them ever seem to actually do anything, except go to each others shows.

on top of that, psychopathic has a bitch of a time booking any shows here, and we just had a gathering confiscated from us in about a week flat.

no, i dont think missouri will be in the top five again anytime soon.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

NJ is a huge horror core scene, but motherfuckers from Jersey always claim NYC instead.

Nothing good is in Jersey, this is fact.

And I’d have to say the east coast area is kinda big in the horrorcore scene. Mission Infect had some members that were in the area, the NR4F peoples, Philly, Delaware, Jersey, NY area. Tonez too I think? I don’t know.
