haha pretty much^^^

yeah, not to spill their beans but their tape was a super collaborative effort & i more-so just wanted to contribute a solo song anyways.. & maybe hop on a cypher for ’em.. i kinda felt i was too different than them, artistically. for better or worse, however a negative one might see it haha..

im gunna say this straight. fuck that shit off. there was solo tracks on there and honestly i would ahve loved to see a track with you and scruffy, the purest form of squashing the shit between you 2. Everyone on the mixtape is different. honestly i felt that was more refreshing then hearing the same artist over and over with a few collabs, and this is from someone who generally hates collab albums, i think they are a cop out. but this was something beautiful, and i hope it becomes a yearly group offering.

ill put a track down with you in the next one. least that way you know you wont be the worst hahahah. (i actually have a cool concept for a song in my head, something to make you laugh rather than gettting serious gangster shit).

you gotta show love to the people listening to your music, your not big enough to generate hype by being a dickhead. be humble, be cool and just keep making music and learning from each release. lets see 2015 as a new year for the warlock, its cool to shrug off the hate but dont confuse people picking apart your work to help you improve as hate.

As much shit talking as there is on this forum, its not like the rest of the internet. generally there is no real malice or desire to see each other torn down. im pretty sure even @patjoyce doesnt ahte you that much, it just grates him that your mexican.

Also,if SK gets all whingey and doesnt want to record, punch that faggot in the throat.

Scruffy reached out to Warlock to have him on this project he even planned on doing a song with Warlock. That says a lot. It wasn’t about competition or anything like that, it was Scruffy wanting to put together this fun little project cause he thought it’d be cool. And the project was very diverse. We each came with different styles but some how meshed together very well. It’s like, with out sacrificing our own style, we some how just rolled off of what the other was doing. Nothing would have been turned down, unless you gave me a shitty verse for Faygo Remembers, I would have turned down a shitty verse on that.

Regardless. IF we do another project (it takes a lot more work than you’d think since we all got other ventures going on too, along with life)  I’m pretty sure that it’s the same thing as last one, any forum artist willing to contribute will get their spot. Beats, verses, hooks, full songs, album art, maybe even a skit of some kind, techno, rap, rock, jazz, pop, don’t matter.

As I understand, the project was meant to be sort of a showcase of just who roams the forums. Warlock didn’t contribute so he wasn’t on it, Spange (can’t remember why, but I think Scruffy knows why) didn’t contribute so he wasn’t on it. I don’t think anybody every tried contacting @joe-strange but I doubt he’d have contributed, you never know though. Maybe we should have. Jiffy came in a little too late, we started this prior to both him and that other guy. I don’t think anybody contacted the block boys, but IDK if we can consider them as actual forum artists since they dipped out pretty quick.

You know @novocaine , everything you’ve said to @the-warlock I’ve said to him multiple times since 2012. Then I realized just how many people are aspiring rappers. We need more doctors or scholars or scientists. Astronomers, teachers, honest congress men, righteous lawyers, scrupulous judges, less rappers.

Oh yeah, and you know me, Scruffy, TheResolution5, Sketchez, etc. could all make original beats for you. Hit one of us up and ideas, prices, etc. will be discussed.

i strongly prefer samples to original production, every extra bit of nostalgia goes a long way…

Plus, I like the challenge of doing something out of my comfort zone in  production. My little brother just had me do a rip off of an arctic monkeys song and it actually came out pretty good.

When you guys do the next project, count me in. I’ll put a verse or two on it. I’ve never rapped before and I tend to get tongue tied when I try rapping in the car. I have no sense or rhythm and I’m a bit tone deaf. You know what, you probably shouldn’t include me on the next one. Nevermind.

Sounds to me like people actually do care, even if they have a roundabout fuck you way of going about it lol.

And i cant tell whether your putting on a show or your genuinely trying to alter your image to a group of people youve royally pissed off so ill take it at face value and assume you want to be a better person, recsept.

Kutt calhoun said it best. ‘ niggas gun hate you for whatever you do’, so if you let a little bit of hate ‘plague you with self doubt’ then maybe you hsould sel your recording equipemnt and throw out all the stuff youve been sitting on. less gay faggoty excuses and more acting like the man you pretend to be please.

I did miss warlock tracks on pmb. you should have been on there all jokes aside. Try the humble game man, im sure people will warm to your music more. Scruffy hit the nail on the head with the jiffy comment. dudes unfucking believably nice, so even if hi8s music does suck people will be nicer about telling him so. (also @jiffylong – where was your track on pmb huh?)

I think I was a little late on the whole deal in the planning process. But that’s fine, I’m cool. Happy to be back at school to show these people my new tracks, I even shown people I didn’t know, they all liked them. (They were the latest tracks I posted, also @sean-law, people at school here loved your verse on that collab we did.)
