You are not Eminem. How you can even think to compare yourself is beyond me, your ignorance knows no bounds. Eminem? You’re not even MC Serch or the other white dude in 3rd bass. Once again, nobody thinks you’re any good. How do you take it? You compare yourself to one of the best lyricists of all time. You are truly a waste of space Potter. Kill yourself, please.

any real artist will tell you isn’t how song making works. You make/find the beat and you write the song to it.eminem makes beats around his lyrics.. guess he aint a real artist tho haha
I do both. Write to a beat and make beats around lyrics but when I write I usually have a sound in mind.

People these days don’t. It’s like when I say that if people are born gay then perhaps they are born pedophiles and they tell me how dare I compare gays to pedophiles and it’s like, “bitch, I’m not comparing gays and pedophiles and if I am then I’d also be comparing them to straights”. My whole point is that why do people decide to draw that line? You can be born gay but not pedo or necrophiliac or into animals? I’ve heard the argument that those things are different because according to statistics all pedophiles suffer from trauma that causes the child touching but they always fail to supply such statistics and I’m pretty sure that the same thing has been said about gays before. Of course being gay isn’t morally wrong like being a pedophile, but it is something that needs to be thought about. And before somebody decides to tell me that my ideas and things I think about don’t matter, are stupid, and are complete gibberish think about what I say. Is it really immoral to punish or shun somebody with pedophile thoughts if they are born that way and can’t help it?

You need to be a great rapper first before you can buck the normal trends. You aren’t even a mediocre rapper. So fall in line, or keep putting out shit music. I don’t know the first thing about your style or production but I immediately picked out part of what you’re doing wrong. Why doesn’t that sink in with you as something that needs to change?
And i’m positive eminem does not make all of his songs by writing first and finding beats later. Even if he makes a small percentage like that he has a team of HUNDREDS of beat makers that can tailor a beat to the exact song. You don’t have a multi-million dollar corporation backing your moves, so maybe try the right way next time.

There isn’t a “right way” to make a song. It’s easier for most to write lyrics to the music, but some prefer it the other way. It’s all about what works better for you.
After listening to a few of these, I have to agree with the beat assessment. The beats are fucking horrible dude. They sound generic and don’t fit the style you are trying to convey.Maybe try a different style or better yet create your own.
I noticed you try to squeeze too many words at times into a bar and it ends up throwing off the flow completely .
Are you methodical enough to where you count the syllables that you write? Music sounds a lot better when the voice and words are symmetrical to the music
There are a few decent lyrics in there, but you need to focus on delivery…Breath control breath control breath control!
It’s like tech said in an article I read on here a while back, flow comes first. Before people listen to the music and the lyrics they listen to the pulse. the flow.
Do yourself a favor and prove me and everyone else on here wrong. Because if you don’t change and refine your shit, then people aren’t going to feel it…..ever.

Uh no, there most certainly is. Don’t be so naive. If everyone does it, that makes it the right way. Failing at any different way makes that the wrong way, and makes you unsuccessful. Thus is why you do it the right way, or don’t do it at all. Measure twice cut once type of deal.

I wasn’t being a dick…Just honest. If it means anything you are probably a better rapper than I am.
I think you need to recognize constructive criticism vs spitting venom. I’ve read a few arguments between you and lucem because he was trying to help you out.
Take advice or don’t, it has no bearing on me really.

Nobody feels your shit Potter, not that i’ve ever seen. Like, not even once. The best you get is “I give you respect for trying, it’s just not my thing.” Which is a really nice way of saying “Wow, that sucked.” To which you usually reply, “Thanks fam!!!” Anyways, people who are feeling your shit must be nowhere near this website, because i’ve sure as fuck never seen them. And as far as proving me or anyone else wrong, that’s laughable, you’re not qualified to do it. The same way as i’m not qualified to perform surgery, you will never prove us wrong. You really want to prove us wrong? Quit. Go to school. Make something of yourself, because being a rapper isn’t ever going to work for you. Ever. Period.
If you don’t believe me, please feel free to re-read through this entire thread. Not one person is feeling you, again. Big surprise. Yet i’m sure that you will somehow find a way to take everybody on the thread saying you absolutely positively fucking blow to mean that you’re the shit. Hey, whatever works for you Potter.

It kinda just happened Ryda, one of my names for him was MC Harry Potter, there were also several others, but that one was just my favorite. Think about it, a grown man who goes around calling himself “The Warlock,” and he means it. It’s just funny to me dude, so it kinda stuck with me. I’m not calling a grown man a warlock, I just call him Potter. He’s on some Hogwarts shit.
Plus, he lives under a staircase, it just fits.
