I been to a Twiztid show that had maybe 15 more people and even I left after Whitney Payton played it was so pathetic and embarrassing but you gotta give it up when someone plays such a small crowd like it was still a big crowd the people get what they paid for even if only 4 people paid.
as for Insane Poetry I have legit hard copies of his albums and would have been at that show if it was in my city and had known about it and doing a show during the controla virus takes balls means you aint being controled.

I've been at local "horrorcore" artists shows where there would be one or two of their friends holding it down. It is simultaneously admirable and cringe-inducing. Paying dues, I guess.
I actually have had nightmares where I go to Gatherings or shows and barely anyone is there and it is quite miserable lol. I'm sure all artists, from underground to independent to mega star, have had the same dreams. It's probably as common as the "teeth falling out" dreams lots of folks have.
So crazy how people perceive shows different. We went to a cool ICP show in Rochester, NY and it seemed quite packed for a Tuesday night in a below freezing winter. Everyone I saw had smiles and excitement and it was great. Then I read a review from some dude at the same show who whined that "Violent J had NO ENERGY NO THIS NO THAT HE COULD BARELY STAND UP" yap yap yap... maybe I'm more of an optimist than I once perceived. Or maybe the show really was wretched and I am deluding myself. Maybe that dude had bad weed brownies like our friends at another show who had to leave. I am of the belief that he was just an ungrateful bitchboy.

During the short period of time where Mastamind was signed to Strawberry Shortkutt's Lost Souls Records to release the Streetvalu EP they did a horribly under promoted show at the former Motor Lounge in Hamtramck, MI. Motor closed a few months earlier and the place was essentially an empty building with no bar or security...there were a total of 5 paid and about 7 of her friends showed up. To his credit Mastamind played his set to all 5 of us and two of the other people who were at the show were obnoxious.
Either way it was sad because I fucking love Mastamind and seeing that few people there was depressing, especially as a short time before that he was opening Twiztid's first solo tour with tons of fans.
The label and that version of Streetvalu didn't exist much longer after that show.
