Better. I like your beat selections lately.
One thing I would say is the flow your words closer and using less emphasis. I hate using the word swag, so I will say try to put more….style, or smoothness into your flow. If that means changing your tone a bit, then do so. Take a break from listenin to PSY and stuff, and kinda step outside that wicked shit realm, and see how others flow. you can take things from different artists, and mesh it into your own style. I mean, that’s how rap evolved in the first place. be raw, and not so happy sounding when rapping wicked shit. That only works for Violent J. I like these beats your using, but they should bring out more in you. you need to be up to par with the beat. dominate the beat, don’t let the beat dominate you. just ride it. AND, heres the big one… You sound like your reading off paper when your rapping. rehearse what your doing, take many takes, and get your voice warmed up.
AND… what the fuck are you wearing? you cant do that. I hope that’s not the new style.
im sorry, but the “new style” still kinda sounds like the old jiffy. Change your voice up a bit, stop reading off paper, rehearse, layer your vocals if needed so you don’t sound out of breath

Figured if my beats were bland, think I’ve already done the best I can with the beats I can make right now. So now I’m working on rapping on better beats. I’ll try to find the link to where I found that one.
And yeah, I’ll make sure to work on that. Glad to see its getting better. But like I’ve seen someone say on here, I forget who, it can always be better, so always work on it.

yea, I did an edit. you will always improve. the jiffy you are wont be the jiffy 6 months ago if you keep making songs. I don’t make beats. I go find them. sometimes that’s best. Im more of a “rapper”, than producer, so that’s what I like to focus on. Most of the time, I find a beat, get permission to use it, and give them the finished copy, since its their beat. That way its less jacking.

I’m definitely gonna keep on making more, might even improve more. Do different styles, actually look at what other people doing. I do like a lot more music, only half the CDs I have are PSY. Right now, I’m listening to a lot of Wu Tang, ODB, Redman, Brotha Lynch, Eminem, Esham. But I’ll actually PAY more attention to it. How they’re rapping. See what I can do to mesh and whatnot.
The beats I find are free, in the description it just says to say their name or something. Sometimes it already does say their names on it.

if you wanna use a beat from some random producers that you dont actually know, skip past any that have name drops.
it sounds absurd.
myself, id never want to rap over a beat, if theres even a chance that someone else will also be using it.

the trick is to make yourself a character.. instead of just sounding like some kid trying to rap. make it sound real and dramatic. then work on perfecting mixing.

Until I find someone who’ll produce for me scruffy, I’ll stick to using other beats. And also, figured I’d wait until I’ve actually gotten good enough to make official shit. Or maybe official shit just makes it sound better. Just whatever I suppose.
Sketchez, I’m sure I’ll come up with character. I’ll definitely work towards something and not just random raps. Maybe that’ll fix Sean’s thing about it sounding just read from paper.
