Thought it was pretty interesting to see Chelsea Grin and Alex Koehler’s new songs posted in the video section here.
If you’re out of the loop, the deathcore band Chelsea Grin parted ways with their vocalist Alex, who now is putting out his own music under the moniker “Grudges”
Through my eyes, the band had a huge drop in quality after their original guitarist Michael Stafford left the band after they released the DEVASTATING record My Damnation in 2011. Their music became more and more “djenty” with way to much “weedle deedle” bullshit, no actual grooves, I challenge you to even try to find a tune or a riff to hum along with in their new music. 
Alex Koehler leaving is the final nail in the coffin for me, there’s no discernible difference between their new vocalist and a million other shitty, generic “brootal” vocalists.
I just can’t support a band made up of 0 original members, that just sounds like any generic wanna-be-brutal edgy bullshit. (If you seriously use the word “shall” in your song you’re a total fucking tool) 
Meanwhile, Alex Koehler’s “Grudges” project is a total facepalm. His writing has sucked since, of course, My Damnation. Like what the fuck happened? Plus..his rapping..just no, no way, awful.. his metal vocals still kick ass, but it’s not enough to save this product.

So, that’s it, RIP Chelsea Grin
