Seriously stop with that dumb shit most rappers dont make beats a rappers job is FLOW/DELIVERY & LYRICS! so yeah its VERY easy to recognize skill! for example! if a rapper has zero flow & nursery rhyme lyrics they suck point blank period real emcees know this shit
the only thing subjective about rap are the beats but even then its easy to tell if a beat sucks if the quality sounds like ass like it took 2 minutes to make!

I guess I didn’t understand exactly what you were trying to say. But I was using them as examples you can be a rapper/producer to your “Seriously stop with that dumb shit most rappers dont make beats a rappers job is FLOW/DELIVERY & LYRICS! so yeah its VERY easy to recognize skill! for example!” that’s all I was doing.

paraphrasing-
'anyone who raps should know it when a rapper flat out sucks, or is elite'
very true.
however…
just about everything is subjective. where do we set the dividing lines between sucks/poor/average/great/elite?
SUBJECTIVITY is objective. not in any rational scheme of perception, but perception itself is irrational, as it implies imminence.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

This thread would make the different style subject matter and comparing artists to one another a compelling argument. It's all skill. If KRS-ONE battled Drake who would win. A Veteran Mc or a Canadian rapper that is soft. Skill and lyrical ability are the only things that matter. So how would someone separate the weak from the strong? Who has more releases, who has more battles under their belt, who's more popular. Can a kid like Whiz Khalifa destroy 50 Cent in a battle? How would people decide who's elite and sucks.

mind putting that in layman's terms lol
certainly.
judgment of any system, or a priori relational phenomenon, exists in any rational, or metaphysical, or at least epistomological contradiction to an abstract and empirical concept.
in short, to coin a phrase, theres no accounting for taste.

What sucks & what dosnt is a matter of opinion. Most underground fans say Lil Wayne sucks, but he still is on top of the mainstram right now. I use to work with a kid who truly belived Lil Wayne is the best rapper of all time. And Ive actually heard Lil Wayne fans say Drake is better. Its just a matter of opinion what sucks. Like Im sure with as long as yoou been Making music Warlock, you prolly had people hate on you, & Im sure you disagree, cause Im sure you wouldnt be making music if you thought of yourself as a wack rapper. If seen people hate on your music & some show it love right here on the Faygoluvers fourm. Its all just a matter of opinion

the opinion is people can choose to like something thats wack. in allot of cases people dont know how to judge a rappers talents so they just say who they like is good & who they dont is wack but real emcees know the various levels of skill & what it takes to be respected amongst your peers for your talent
