So my girlfriend’s friend’s on again/off again boyfriend of sorts is an aspiring rapper. I listened to his only song that I know off, with an accompanying music video shot on my girlfriend’s friend’s apartment. It’s pretty good I think, definitely not the normal stuff I listen to or is posted on here, but he has it in his head he’s going to make it as a rapper and he could use some promotion, i’d especially love feedback (if u hate it it just gives me something to clown him for lol, if u like it then he can just feel good about himself)

haha the lyrics are a lil nonsensical but overall not bad or too simple..
the delivery is cool & fits the track but gets boring by the end of it/after that skit.. definitely wouldnt wanna hear a whole project in that style.. overall tho its definitely listentoable so props to him for that..
as far as the “make it” thing i dont think he has the right image to blow up in the mainstream but i can def see him appealing to a certain online demographic.. like possibly nerdcore & satirical shit.. if he were to go more in that direction

The video quality is better than icps latest mighty death pop video even though the content visuals were unengaging. Just goes to show that artists have no excuse not to put out videos in this youtube age. Literally anyone with an iphone or a cheap camera can do it
