I’m not a fan of the style so my opinion may not be too valid but I think it is ok…not fantastic but not bad. There isn’t anything about the beat that really grabs my attention and I feel like it doesn’t go anywhere. The main notes give me a pendulum feel and I think if you did something more with those notes later on into the instrumental it would diversify the track…know what I mean?

its pretty dope, very simple.  For this id put a little more drum rolls/fills in there to make it more fuller.  On these kinds of beats you need more substance.  Try doing a snare roll or kick drum roll at the end of each 4 bars.  Also try using big crashes (turned down) at the beginning of each verse/or where ever you see fit.  I trick I always use, is the reverse symbol for a lead in and any changes.  Its simple but sounds dope.  I liked that flange effect for the lead in in the beginning!

DUDE!  super nice man, those look really comfy too.  I used DJ head phones for years, and after a while they’d KILL my ears.  Novo, I checked out that beat sequencer your getting!  my god man….I may have to steal that one from you!  That little thing is KILLER. I watched a 20 min youtube (of course) video on that thing and its a BEAST man!  I like the 2 control knobs for each pad!!!  you can get a nice little groove going quickly.
