You could change shit up and be more palatable. Your name and schtick is really generic. Figure out how to brand yourself with something unique. Your influences show through your style and delivery and content...try to stand apart from the influences...use the more subtle things your influences have taught you. Other than all that...cool. cheers_gif

Yoo thank you guys so much for the reply yall are the shit

@sketches I haven't really listened to any Jokerr besides  that "ICP diss song" or whatever but I could see where im gonna get this  response in the future and I kinda expected it when I was choosing my name haha. I definatly cant hold a candle to Jokerr because im just now learning how to work with Audacity and all that stuff but yeah like DemonicSwagger said I need to use more subtle things my influences have taught me. Great advice yo!!!! Im an X-ray technician who battles with a lot of anxiety and yall are literally the first people besides my best friends ive ever showed this stuff too.

There is more on my youtube if your curious. Right now Im kinda at a block with the production value. I am using the free download of Audacity and I have a frail grasp on any form of mixing or mastering. Im kinda relying on google tutorials and shit which are confusing as balls.

All I got is determination

Thanks again yall

Much love my fam

Oh shit really? Thanks man ima look into Magix.

I had some friends telling me fruity loops but when I tried the demo that shit was soooooo confusing

I really appreciate the response! I got a good studio condenser mic so its up to me to learn some Mic control and confidence

This year will be my second year at the Gathering because I live 20 mins from Thornville so ima stop by the FLH spot and say whats up!

Reaper has a 30 day free trial (you can use the whole progrAm) and then it's like $60 after that. That's what I've been using.

Yeah man Magix is really good, with Fruity Loops (or any other beat making software) you just gotta sit down for a weekend, focus, and watch youtube vids and learn that bitch. Once you pass that curve its super easy just like Reason 5 which I use....sometimes. (I'm a MPC dude myself)  I know seeing everything on that program can be a bit overwhelming but once you figure what does what then its like riding a bike.  Youtube will be your best friend, my friend!  There's a lot of kids that SCHOOL that program and can teach the hell outta it trust me!  Again with mixing just search youtube, try and learn something new everyday.  There's a MASSIVE wealth of knowledge online homie.

With your music you posted....you have the talent, but your new and it shows.  Keep grinding homie and learn the craft from all aspects.

and try to deviate from the "juggalo rapper" stereotype.

lose the name, drop the done already jester/joker gimmick, and drop the joker card looking picture,  and your on the path to improvement.

I use magix, and its pretty basic if your just recording. as far as beats, I don't know, I don't make em. I just paste whatever project im working on, and record, edit, cut, add effects.. what have you.

you could check out pirate bay, and download it free, and navigate through it.

I'll fuck you till you love me, Faggot!

Great shit homie! i really liked it!

I use Magix for recording and i dabble with beats on FL Studio. I have reason 5, but ill be fucked if i can figure it out hahaha. are those beats your own? i like em man. I have alot to learn, but when dudes like scrubb or sketchez speak up, stop and listen. they are a few of the super talented dudes around the way.

Stick around, theres a plethora of people always looking to hook up and collab. and theres the FLH mixtapes which i suppose are going to become a yearly endeavour and always a great way to get your music out there.

I wont give you tips on pointers on your skills, your shits is leagues above my own personally. but i will say, hook up a soundcloud account. all the cool kids are doing it nowadays.

Most of the guys doing shit on here have one. check em out, and hit us up if you wanna do some work.

im using a budget ass blue snowball atm, but considering getting a better one soon enough.

i still have alot to learn about magix. i still cant figure out how to modulate the pitch on ym voice and other cooky effects. and i cant find a decent video. one that makes any sense to me.

lol scrubb, yeah i remember a few aussie dudes: Jokir, The Joker, Mad hatter and a dozen different variations. Hell the first group i was apart of (it was like 15 dudes) was called Perth Hatchet Rydas.

I just right click on my vocals, and it comes up with a whole bunch of options and effects to use.  or in mixing/mastering tab

oh and btw @the-medieval-jester whenever you post something, expect it to get derailed quite quickly.

Don't worrry, happens to everyone.

Just pray it doesnt devolve into pointless fighting.

HAHA!  I REALLY try to avoid the pointless fighting by just shutting my mouth. I'm 35 years old man, I am not gonna fight with someone on the internet over some dumb shit!  However, it is entertaining while I'm being a douchbag at work being on Faygoluvers.
