Madrox has been consistently good from the beginning. But I love hearing the evolution of Monoxide. He went from forgettable to the best thing on the label imo before they left. Not taking anything away from Madrox because he's stepped his game up too recently. Monoxide is like a new person though. He even used to be the quiet shy guy and became the funniest dude.

when it comes to freestyles, mono is pretty shameful.
madrox has either got a perfect memory or he is a killer freestyler.
writing wise, madrox has always been better but it seems that mono just keeps stepping up and trying harder.
and ill, you can learn from someone and still be different. i dont think they could ever be identical, they both have different flows that work well together and although mono has gotten better, they still compliment one another 100%

In most ways it seems Jamie comes across as the better rapper, but anyone notice how sometimes his verses can be confusing as to what he's trying to get across? I can't remember examples right now, but he can come across quite schizophrenic in his rhymes. Not for the better either. But yeah, Madrox all the way.

I think thats just his style, you can hear him miss a beat here and there but its not like its super noticable. I think monos flows mesh a little better the madroxs nowadays.

lyrically & damn near every aspect madrox has always been the better of the 2.. mono did outshine him on abominationz but one album isnt enough to rank him over madrox....
have seen this said time&time again on here...its surprising to see how widely felt monoxide's performance over jamie's was on there.
i dont see it.love the album, love both of their performances...but if compared & broken down...the majority of the albums standout moments are from jamie and the few lowpoints (outside of the icp verse) i would say are on monoxide...he kinda fucked up the end of a few verses on there.example, i believe its "extension cords" where the end of his verse is kinda offbeat and amateur sounding...somethin bout "bring change and leave em hangin like a keychain"...dude has a few other questionable lines on the album, madrox came 100% on every track...his flow/content/delivery is incredible all over that album.
not to mention, jamie's "ldlhaibcsywa" verse is a pure work of art...possibly the best verse in the history of psychopathic...imo ofcourse

i was more-so talkin lyrically.. ive always preferred jamies delivery & style more but bar for bar mono def had more punchlines & metaphors on abominationz.. which is why i feel he outshined jamie...

I much prefer Mono because I relate to him much more. That being said, Jamie has held it down as a better lyricist on the majority of the albums aside from:
Mirror Mirror- Seriously, I know opinions are opinions, but listen to that album and tell me Monoxide doesn't out shine Jamie (no disrespect). His best work IMO (not solo). Has to be my second favorite Twiztid album behind Green Book.
Man's Myth
Chainsmoker- Shits on both Phatso releases, and they were each fuckin dope, so that's sayin something.
H&H- Probably my 3rd favorite Twiztid album.

Monox-boogie is my ninja without a doubt. I'm all about the wicked lyrics and gorey imagery and I feel like Mono raps more frequently about that kinda shit or maybe he spits his verses in a way I can relate to more. When I listen to Mono's verses, I feel completely blown away like, "God Damn, I wish I could rap/write lyrics as dope as that." Madrox is super dope too tho, they compliment each other perfectly.
And I agree, a Monoxide vs Madrox Album would be dope as fuck.
