So… Hopsin talks a lot of trash on the new trap rappers these days, yet in his new single he sounds just like Bige Sean and stole Big Sean’s signature lazy voice singing style and even flow.
Now, I most of you probably don’t know this but Big Sean has been signed to Kanye West’s good music for 10 years, he just hasn’t released anything until recently. So Big Sean has been low key a piece of influence on today’s hip hop sound. Most significantly is that Drake has admittedly stolen Big Sean’s flow and style and gotten famous off of it. Big Sean didn’t exactly pioneer the new trap sound, but he sure did jump on the band wagon and so did Hopsin.

Yeah, I’m still holding up the fact that Hopsin destroyed Funk Volume over a tantrum and Dame is being demonized over bullshit. Dame was Hopsin’s Travis O’Guin. But this song was really dope. Just pointing out that it is exactly everything he used to shit talk previously. And a huge Big Sean imitation. RIP to Prince.

Ever notice that every time Hopsin talks shit he back peddles when confronted? Like in the Vlad interview he back peddled when they brought up No Words and his feelings on Trap music. He’s never owning up to his own words.

I think hop is talented. I am a pretty positive guy though even if I think an artist is stale I wish them the best because the industry takes a lot of hard work and I respect that.

Hop is str8 trash. I had high hopes for him and yet to be impressed. The 1st song i heard was nocturnal rainbows and that song was really good. After i heard that i went and listened to his whole catalog and couldnt find any other song i liked. I gave him a shot all the way up until his latest efforts and its sad how he’s evolved. He just a whiney untalented uncreative artist and producer. Imo he better as a featured artist, especially on techs am i a psycho. He was the worst part of the funk volume roster and now those artists have to suffer a step backwards when things were bout to blow for thems boys. Fuck hop and fuck dame
