Maybe more of a relative genius, and I predict that I will get much much better. I plan on learning how to play instruments much better than I already can as well as learn how to sing. (learning to sing is going to be fun). I don't want to limit myself. Trust me, though, I will try as hard as I can to make Fles Ruoy Llik the perfect album and to turn it into a classic. And that album will only be the beginning. Either way, I don't think millions of people could do what I do. I've met a lot of artists and not one can do what I do. Some are better singers, some are better at playing instruments, but not many show much potential as being the full package. I would call anybody that has talent in music a genius though. Mozart would be considered a legend. A musical legend.

Maybe I throw the word genius around to often. I will prove it though.
My point is that if you want to hate on my music then do better. Whole point of the post. Too many haters that claim that they could do better but won't even try.

Same goes for you too warlock. You can have ten mother fuckers hate on your shit. But if you can get that one to say you are dope then you have a shot. I listened to both of you and neither is my cup of tea but it doesn't mean others won't dig it.
Personally i've been working on a novel that even my closest friends don't know about. If there is one thing I do know its plot structure and character development. But yeah once it's finished ima push it out to anybody who will bother to listen. Y'all should be doing the same

ill go with stanford-binet: i.q. of 140 or above… genius.
i myself, am above that by a considerable margin [not bullshittin, not braggin, either]. as such, i can make general pronouncements [okay, that was bullshit].
the pronouncement here is that lucem does have sparks of genius in there. i try to listen to all the musicians here. most, to be brutally honest, i cant even let a single track finish. they are not good, and i dont see any reason to expect them to get better. i could be more specific, but lets face it, you know who you are. ill wait til im asked for specifics, as far as who i think sucks.

see, whats likely goin on here is, lucem just put some shit together that hes happy with, and cant wait to put it out there, etc, etc. this makes him feel pretty good. i know the feeling. i dont really think it needs to be trumpeted to the world, but hes taken his lumps for that from the rest of yall.

Thanks a lot for the accolades man, really appreciate it. I want to state again that this post was not meant to be braggy or egotistical, but it was meant to silence some of the people that hate on artists that put hard work into their music while they aren't doing much with themselves. Especially the haters that say, “I could do better than that”.

I think most of us do have “sparks of genius” in us. Great potential that is yet to be realized. You just have to find your niche and where you fit in to the grand scheme of things. Problem is it's sooo fucking hard to climb over that wall. Most of us are ok with just going through the motions and are too fearful of what would happen had our dreams failed. I'm privy to this as well.
The key is setting a realistic goal with actual steps and measurements to achieve the goal. Don't worry about the naysayers. I forget where I heard this but “A critic is someone who knows how to get there, but can't drive the car”…..It's always stuck with me
