I think the thread you're thinking of was for Psy to sign a chick. Also I wanna see how many people post that horrorcore gunther rahzkel how ever you spell her name vids or tracks up.

On another note. Fuck battle rapping. Why waste time on somebody else when you can focus on your own shit.

I said that first part jokingly. Battling is pointless. Why focus on other people?

its kind of always been a part of hip hop haha i hear what youre sayin i mean its better to just stick to workin on music that will last forever but some battlers are able to do both pretty frequently & its just some superior emcee shit provin you can out bar out deliver & out perform everyone else in your area or even around the world is pretty impressive to say the least haha

& also this day & age its really the best way for an underground emcee to promote their product battles get thousands upon thousands of views which is more than the average random underground cat can get their music vids its a great way to build a fanbase which is a pretty hard step in this day & age plus every industry muthafuckas watchin em from eminem, royce, busta rhymes, drake, jay-z, raekwon, p diddy lol

... Why are people so in love with covers these days? When did karaoke become popular again? Does Roxanne Shante still perform?

Doing remakes has been something popular since the beginning of time.

Didn't say remake said cover. Cover is when you cover somebody elses song like a Michael Jackson cover band would do. A remake is when you take a song add a little bit of your flair to it and spruce it up with newness. A parody is essentially a remake but you are making fun of the song pretty much. Call Me Maybe the hundreds of Parodies out there.

I think it's time that I fulfill the prophecy and bring up Razakel. She's gotten a lot better with her new album and she's the only horrorcore girl that doesn't sound like she's got crabs when she raps.Other than her and Tali Demon there isn't really any female rapper that's caught my attention as an artist.

I actually like Raz, but I do have to admit that she does get too monotone and it gets boring. She also sometimes uses rhymes that sound awkward as fuck as well as the stereotypical lines that any horrorcore fan could see coming from a mile away. She does have her moments that shine though. Oh, and she doesn't sing as well as she thinks she does, she has moments were her singing sounds good but a lot of times it sounds just off.

I highly doubt that because I'm from Utah and I know a few people that fuck with their shit. It's like, I honestly can't name one person that I know listens to Justin Bieber but I do know that people around here do listen to Justin Bieber. Hell, their production is better than most, their lyricism may lack but at least they are showing improvement, and even though that most artists on SKR do horrorcore (which is funny because lately Sick has been bragging about not just doing horrorcore for shock value) Sick actually does legit occult music. I guess it comes down to them sticking to a certain formula that I like and a lot of people just find boring, or something.

Either way I think Muerta was definitely a good album and deserves some bit of respect.
