Listen dude...

I'm not a jealous h8r, a troll, a failed or otherwise struggling musician, or anything of that stripe. I'm saying this up front in the hopes that you take what I have to say seriously.

This song is not good.

Now before I get into that, I'm going to give you the positives I took away from this, and I did listen to the whole thing. There's some good lines here and there, vaugely bringing to mind a sort of dollar store version of Celph Titled. That's the highest compliment I can pay you, unfortunately. I even agree with you about the connection to Northern Minstrel shows- I once went off on a tangent about how our Juggalo underground is sort of the spiritual evolution of vaudeville culture in general. But innovation comes with turning existing concepts on their ear, and in our world the racial component to the theatrics isn't a conscious factor and even typically plays to a crowd who carries anti-racist sentiment. The focus on theatrics is ostensibly not 'hiphop', but it is a factor in our underground- and the two are very much married to one another. G-mo Skee is probably the best example of that marriage, even if you do not understand it.

You really ought to listen when this many people tell you that your sound quality is poor, and that the track is mixed badly. Because it is. The vocals sound like you're recording on a computer mic from the 90's- its rough and staticy- this is apparent to anybody with ears. The beat seems too low and you're frequently not rhyming with the beat. Occasionally you do sync up, and you do okay, but you once you struggle to keep time with your overly simple monosyllabic rhyme scheme it all goes to shit.

Speaking of your rhymes, they're tremendously weak. You can tell that you're just running with the next simple thing that rhymes with the word previous. You also rhyme the same word over and over, more than once. That's criminal. That combined with your...uh... unique drawl makes you sound like a Brony rapper. There's no real flow. A good battle track should have a compelling build up and a hard-hitting punchline and move seamlessly into the next line, building towards something cohesive and cutting. Say what you want about G-mo, but this is one area he has you beat in without needing to make a song. You can't attack someone's poetic character when you struggle to articulate something doper than comparing them to poo-poo, doo-doo and a fart.

Lastly, I hate to break this to you homeboy, but billing yourself as 'The #1 Atheist MC'- ....that's a gimmick. It's not much of one, granted, but anything you use to sell your music beyond letting it speak for itself is a gimmick. So your argument for attacking another MC with a vastly superior pedigree is stones in glass houses.

To reiterate: You'd do well to listen to the critiques of the other forumgoers. There's a lot of talented rappers and beat makers here who can and do outshine you. If you're a professional, act like one, and learn to shelf your ego and accept it with grace.

The fact that you've taken EVERY piece of constructive criticism as people being "haters" shows that you are either:

A. A troll or,

B. A narcissist who cannot accept that they are in the wrong about anything.

Half of these people were being nice and just giving you feedback. If you HAVE been working on music for 14 years, it certainly doesn't show in this track. Why are you so unwilling to listen to what other people are saying?

I don't think atheists are gonna listen to a rapper BECAUSE they're an atheist rapper. I know I sure as hell won't.

G-Mo isn't playing the dandy minstrel, he is deconstructing the EXTREMELY common hip hop trope of flossing. Instead of bragging about bling and his gucci or prada, he's dressed up in a fucking skin suit and talking about wearing people. You are completely missing the point of the song because of your self-rightousness and bitterness.

If you want sales, listen to your peers when they point out problems, cause there's no way in hell this is gonna sell.

OMG atheists who publicly identify as such, 9 times out of 10 are just as ignorant as religious people. Kind of worse even. When you let not believing become a belief system of its own you have missed the point, royally. I know better than anyone how fun it is to engage these threads but in the interest of the smell in the air, I vote we flush this turd.

I agree that dogma's dogma, no matter how much spin or clown paint you dump on it. I love the next great question, so here's one: what, if anything, is worth believing in?

Yourself. You believe in what you can achieve. I relate strongly to Ayn Rand's philosophy.

I value the free exchange of ideas; u might relate to Jordan Peterson's message.

The expressed need for something to believe in is ultimately where ICP lost me, philosophically. I got over that shit years and years ago. A lot of people become convicts of their own convictions, fuck that path. Faith isn't always positive or desirable. Seems like ICP covored theists and athiests but left agnostic Juggalos out to dry with ML. Oh well, they are still young, relatively speaking. Still time to grow and learn.

I agree with the other guy you clearly can't handle any sort of negative criticism which is your tell tale you'll never make it besides the horrible quality of your product. And you sell singles to pay for a god damn a/c???? I know times is tough but damn get a job homie and quit chasing a dream that'll never happen! Then again if your 17ing is this bitch I guess it can happen, not really though
