Edit**** @djscrubb thanks for the offer homie, at this stage i will hold out for him. im still waiting on some beats from him, aswell as we sorta know what we were shooting for together on the project. if he doesnt surface in a week or so i may definitely take you up on your offer. I have been trying to re teach myself producing and mixing (never learnt how to master tracks) the last few days so hopefully if i do well on te shit ive been doing i will be able to make and mix my own stuff.

ok firstly, sorry I haven’t been on FLH much the since dropping this on you.

I will break down what I need from you exactly.

16 bars or 8 if you are a dumb fuck like me lol

There is like a 2 second scratch sample thingy before the beat kicks in, I might leave that in and do the whole ‘name drop’ thing that was suggested between each verse, what do you think?

There is a following 40-41 seconds for you to play with, subject matter can be anything.

So what I need from you is an a capella and a reference for placement.

The acca can be pre-mixed by you if you feel you can provide it at album quality with ad-libs, effects and so on. If not send it raw and I and another engineer will be mixing them (I now use someone as a kinda ‘proof-engineer’ as I am the first to admit, music is still a new art to me and I would rather swallow my pride and use help when needed, never sacrifice quality for pride) :) I ain’t no superstar, just a fat juggalo on a computer lol

The beat is simple but that was my aim, I am going for an actual cypher sound, not a pro-longed version of a normal beat I would do, I will add odds and ends once I get all the verses back but nothing dramatic, so just think of that beat you have as about 80% done, main structure is complete but I may add an extra sample and cut-off here and there :)

Send the acca and reference to [email protected], no real time limit fam, lets say a month, no stress.
