Charging 40 bucks for a floppy disk with the album on it? Good luck with that.

Read the words,

I know PRJ, he’s throwing in a pendant with the pre-order, what a steal. The album is the main sales point. Who even owns a floppy disk drive these days?

do you really think a 5.25 floppy disk version of this album is gonna be released?

a floppy was what, half a meg of storage?  thatd be incredibly low quality.

at least i now know which one of us is more foolish.

My original post asking about the price point was more to get clarification from Bloodstepp on his weird marketing scheme.I wasn’t sure if there was some kind of special floppy disk he was using, like a zip disk, which looks like a floppy, but can hold 250mb. Scruffy you need to calm down on your OBI WAN of the forum trip you are on homie. You took my humurous take on MEC’s buddha tweet way too serious, and now you are trying to label me a fool over not knowing about floppy disk storage space. Chill out dude.

if you think im on an obi-wan trip, thats your hang-up, not mine.

if you wanna be a comedian, say something funny.

cuz when it aint funny, it makes you appear a fool.

if im wrong, someone will let me know.  they always do.

Ok to clarify, the floppy disk edition is an old-skool 5.25 inch floppy disk with the cd inside, the top of the floppy has been opened, it’s just a cover/case, just something different from the norm, and the album is influenced by a computer game after all, I am showing my age with this release though, these floppy disks were introduced in 1979 just a couple of years before I was born with about 160kb of data storage lol. I will announce here and now before anywhere, I will be including a standard jewel case with it as well. It’s $30 for the album + pendant plus $10 shipping from Australia, not everyone’s cup of tea but the pre-orders have been INSANE regardless :) Hope that helps famo ;) I know the music is the main selling point and once you hear this album the music will speak for itself ;)

I’m assuming you’re talking about the 80s Macintosh II floppy disks and not the smaller, more rigid “floppy” disks, right?

I'm the neck cutta and I'm one block away...

I think the rigid ones are 3inches or so…I think you are describing the ones hes using.
