Wasn’t sure where to put this.. but I usually only go to underground music shows so…
Here’s my question.
Anyone know anything about the security and the experience im gonna have at the norva in Norfolk VA? I’ve never heard anything good, especially about security. That they hate juggalos, real strict on drinking, smoking, want reasons to kick you out. Anyone heard this too or been before?
I usually go to show in charlotte nc, its closer to where I live.. Tremont music hall is usually the venue, while being ghetto and basically an old warehouse, the security and staff is awesome to juggalos, and only fucks with drunk assholes.
Amos Southend staff is assholes but not terrible, awesome actual venue.
The national in Richmond is a great venue, no complaints.
The lincoln theatre in Raleigh nc staff are dickheads and dislike juggalos…
Off the top of my head those are the best and worst of venues for juggalos I’ve been to.
But if anyone has comments about the norva they would be appreciated.

Tremont is my favorite venue in the world. My home base for sure. Amos’ southend sucks balls.Amos’ is the worst.

i know security at the norva will throw you out, if you crowd surf over the barricade, just one time, but the norva is an awesome venue ! big stage, great wrap around balcony, big club !

Yeah I haven’t heard Anything good about staff, and I’ve noticed the nicest venues usually have the most asshole staff. Probably why tremont is the shit haha.

I went to the Norva once,on the Black Rain tour. From what I remember it wasn’t too bad. Then again, that was 9 years ago.

Infant children? I’ve seen kids… 8 is the youngest I’ve seen and it was on the bang pow boom tour… Idk he seemed to have a great time. He was kept safe and had some kind of hearing protecion… I’ve been on the fence about that… I don’t think its worse than letting them watch whatever they want on tv..

Ive always hated House of Blues.First I hate that they wont let certain bands play like( Machine Head,The Faceless) because they think they are satainc or dont approve of their lyrics.The one near Disneyland is owned by them and are christians that thought Faceless was satanic and wouldnt let them open for Meshuggah.Also they take forever to search people to get into the venue.If ur in the back you miss half the show.Also they wont let you bring your beer on to the floor..fuck them
