This might very well be the last UNOPENED, SEALED copy of Morton's List on the planet. Anyone who attended the GOTJ auction last year, or saw the videos, knows how desirable and rare this game is. People went apeshit bidding on the "last copy", it sold for a small fortune. You dont need to go broke to add this masterpiece to your collection, just check this shit out! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA.....1306116476

YOU were the seller of that auction?! I was actually watching that one for the last week myself!
You really *are the scumbag PRJ made you out to be.
The auction gets up to $32 with 3 days left so you remove it because you didn't think you were gonna get the "hundreds of dollars"? Then you REcreate the auction and come back here to give us all a sales pitch? Rather than making a reserve price or a "buy now" option you choose to fuck with people?
The one at the Gathering sold for what it did because of where it was being bought and who was selling it. It'll have a permanent history attached to it.
You're a forum troll AND an auction welcher. Expect your star rating to go down, punk.

@cheshyr I was the high bidder for a while. I noticed I kept getting outbid by an account that has never won or sold anything. Then, after I reached the point where I wouldn't bid anymore, after another day or so, no one else had bid, and it was taken down. This is PURELY speculation, but it seems like the seller made a fake account and was bidding to drive the price up.

@piggofdoom - Er... um... that was probably me... Until this thread popped up I had no idea I could have been bidding against anyone here, let alone in an auction by someone PRJ had called out in a different thread about using Faygoluvers as a mark.
I saw you mentioned you were already bidding on one and saw a set for $65 so I figured *that was *you (along with a couple gougers thinking $600-735 is anywhere in the realm of reasonable). When I jumped into what I now know as being the welchers auction, it was so low at the time I was expecting it to jump up there (below $100 at least).
I never would'a bid against you if I had known better. You were the one that made the post that enlightened me to the damn thing. That'd be a pretty dick move on my part. I thought I was lucking out to find *another auction nobody had bid on but for like a penny 'er some shit. Hell, I thought someone was doing that to ME, heh.
But yeah, I've never sold anything on eBay and only used it many years ago to replace my AKIRA Critirion Collection laserdisc set (I won but even *that turned out bad cuz it was the wrong version). Never used it since and had to make a new one back in Oh-whatever ('09 I think). You can check a buyers account creation date. I certainly wouldn't put it past the prick to do that but why bother when you can just delete the whole auction when it isn't gonna "sell for hundreds of dollars".
Sorry homie :( I'm not gonna fight anybody from around here for it. I'll stick to looking around gaming stores. But I guess the guy technically fucked us both then. That's why I was so surprised to see this thread after the auction disappeared and reappeared and put two an' two together...

Oh no it's cool lol, I would rather it be you than him raising the price. But, as you can see, apparently what we were willing to pay wasn't enough for him/her. if you would be willing to pay more you deserve it more. Like I posted on the GOTJ Morton's list thread, they have it for free online, so this was more of a formal thing anyway. Either way we both got fucked.

Honestly, at the time the auction got removed my max bid was $40 and the *absolute most I was gonna pay was $60. I mean, I'd pay the cost of an average console game for it but unless there was something special about, I never pay more than twice the original value of game books. Not like the information in it becomes more valuable or can't be found somewhere else. You can buy a 30-sided die still and the tables are on the site but I do think there's a difference between the Lite one online and the original books and expansion... not a FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR difference though :P
