aight, so I just got an xbox 360 kinect. only reason I got it is because my wifes friend is filing bankruptcy and is in the processing of maxing out the best buy card.

ya I know im a little late for the party, and not game savy, but this is pretty fresh. I been messin around on it, creating accounts, and downloading apps. I can click on a Youtube video on my computer and it syncs it to my TV so I can watch on it… that’s fresh!lol. I new to this so im still learning shit on it. I have no games yet but if I was to get a game, could I play online against people for free or do I need a gold membership? I don’t know shit about this thing

You need to pay for a gold membership subscription to game online. I think it’s around 40 bucks for a year, but I ain’t sure. The market place is free to browse through, you can find some decent indie games for like a buck.

As Neverthrive stated, You need to have Gold to play against someone on Xbox Live, they did however change the rules about apps, up until about 2 months ago you needed to have Gold just to use most apps that you already pay a fee for such as NetFlix or HBOGO, but now they allow you to use your services with out gold….Which only makes sense since you pay a fee to the company who’s service you use, paying Xbox to access non-Xbox services was totally unfair and complete bullshit….If you want to add a Juggalo my Gamertag is Cornfedjuggalo1….
