Having said all that … I like Star Trek too … It’s apples and oranges to me. Both great when you’re in the mood.

star wars vs starburst
– round one –
obi-wan kenobi activates his lightsaber, shuffles forward and slashes starburst in two.
an enormous computer generated flavor wave washes over everybody. chewbacca will smell like moldy lemons for weeks.
george lucas counterattacks with cg of his own, rearranging everything so that the flavor wave now came from jar jar. the fans yell out, 'bullshit!' but starburst has their feet stuck to the theater floor, so they stay for the rest.
at the end of the round, skittles makes a cameo appearance, but the bell rings before anyone can get the bag open.
so far, too close to call.

The lack of Vader in this plot makes me think this is pure fan fiction.

I've never cared much for either. I just don't think I'm interested in a lot of that spacey scifi shit, unless it's like campy 50's retro-futurism, which neither franchise really is. Well… I guess they're campy, but they still take themselves too seriously, me thinks.
I vote Galaxy Quest.

Stargate SG-1 for me.I know it's basically a ripoff of the Star Trek formula but it's good.I never really got into Wars or Trek,but if I had to pick I'd say Star Trek TOS.

I was always more of a Trekkie; Star Trek was more our future, and Star Wars happened a long time ago in a galaxy very far away.
Also, the Enterprise is about 100 times bigger than the Millennium Falcon.
Kathleen Kennedy’s run with Star Wars was horrible and pretty much ruined the entire franchise.
But then came Starfleet Academy, where they gave us a passive gay Klingon who likes to watch birds and a Klingon/Jem Hardar lesbian hybrid.
Right now, I say neither
I won’t watch any of that woke trash anymore
Did not watch The Mandalorian and Grogu, and probably never will, but I did see Masters of the Universe on opening day and fucking loved that movie.
