New Star Wars movies...good idea or bad idea

The new Star Wars movie is set to begin filming in early 2014, says producer Bryan Burk.
Disney has slated Star Wars: Episode VII for release in 2015 and hired Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt to write the script. JJ Abrams will direct and co-produce alongside Burk, his partner on numerous other movies including Star Trek Into Darkness and Super 8.
Asked when shooting might start on Episode VII, Burk told Collider: “We’re progressing on a schedule to hopefully begin next year, or the beginning of next year.”
Summarising the film’s status, Burk added: “As I just said, everything is kind of a free-flowing thing, and when we feel like the story level on this script and everything is really coming together and schedules are all working and pieces line up, we [will] prowl ahead.”
Meanwhile, original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have all hinted that that they are likely to be returning for Episode VII. Earlier this month (May), Abrams confirmed that usual Star Wars composer John Williams is clear frontrunner to write the score.

i can tell you that they will fuck it all up…they already did with the last 3 imo…even george fucked up the og’s by changing shit..its done imo..but they will milk it for all its worth…fuckin goldmine..

True, as long as Trek will be making money and fame, Star Wars will compete with it until the end of time. I never saw the first episodes only until recently and thought they were okay. I can’t hope for something good coming out of this, but I’ll be checking it out.

my weakness is horror movies…i always have to see it the day it comes out…i think is a sickness…
not big on the trek or the stars wars..still havent seen the last one they did..

I got raised to be a sci fi nerd by my dad…but I feel ya on that….i love me some horror….Me and my girl one up each other at the red box or when we are going to a movie… we always go for the ones that are full of “gore/intense imagery” “Disgusting gory violence”…
You should see the looks we get when shes like “Lets get this one baby its full of gore and intense violence, with a brutal rape scene…and its got a clown in it”

my dad loves star wars…dudes way into star trek…he tried gettin me into it but just never could..dont hate on it just cant get into like some people do…same with lord of the rings…if i ever need to go to sleep ill just pop that bitch in…lol

Probably…is that the one where the clown shows up late to a kids party and gets killed…then gets resaurected and goes to the kid’s party later in life…I think thats it we get massivly stoned while we watch horror movies…i fall asleep alot…i guess im wooed to sleep by screaming teenagers….now THATS a sickness…
