I just finished reading Holes by Louis Sacher. Really tough reading, I know, but I got through it. The book really described New Mexico perfectly, even droppin in a little Arizona in there, all the Mexicans diggin and shit, tryin to find a white bitch a treasure. Really hard hitting stuff. The part where the water truck drove into a ditch was terrifying, but Mexicans are like camels, they were straight. I mean, they were thirsty but they didn’t die. They still dug their holes, right? I wonder if the camp didn’t get shut down so soon after if the warden would’ve given them less water, but, alas, we shall never know. I really liked this book, lot of unanswered questions though, forcing me to believe that the nigger must’ve died. Thoughts anyone?

That’s it right there violentdope!! I forgot they made a movie from it, I believe it was filmed in New Mexico. I just thought the way he spoke of the mexicans was ahead of its time. This guy may be a prophet or something, like Nostrodamus and Miss Cleo and LaToya Jackson. I wonder if he’s a prophet from the future and one day it will indeed be cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Something to think about ninjas.

Joyland is the new King book….Speaking of odd thomas there is an ureleased movie floating around the interwebs. Really true to the book except the character of ozzie and the fact that ghost elvis isn’t in there(it does show the cardboard cutout of him)

Oh, that’s right, that’s why the title sounded familiar. I haven’t read it yet, I will pick it up next time i’m at the bookstore though. Did Dr. Sleep ever come out? I’m out of the loop homie, I don’ now shit that is going on.
I would be interested in seeing an Odd Thomas movie/TV Show. I like the Ozzie character, i’m guessing if he’s not in it then neither would terrible chester. And they at least gotta give the king a little bit off a shout out, even if it is only a cardboard cutout. Odd Thomas is the shit dude, Elvis not so much.

Doctor Sleep is an upcoming novel by Stephen King, a sequel to King’s novel The Shining, set to be published in September 2013.

Well ozzie is in there for one scene played by patton oswalt. Definitely not the morbidly obese character portrayed in the book. The movie is in kind of a limbo right now over a law suit so idk if it will ever be released. Idk if you have seen the new star trek movies but the guy that plays the russian plays odd. He does a good job if you ask me.
I don’t think Dr. Sleep is out yet

Sounds like you really enjoyed it, and that’s all that matters. I’m sure the warlock has read it, and he probably has a lot of love for the story at large. I mean, it practically took place in his front yard. Holes is probably like Roots to him and his people.
never read it, watched it, nor knew anything about the plot…
