Boardwalk was so great. The last season was pretty gangster, but after they killed Jimmy awhile back it never had the same shine to me. I keep up with Boardwalk like I keep up with Mad Men or Game of Thrones, because they came out the gate so strong. I believe they can still put out some great shit…. one day…. hopefully.

i wasnt gonna be too specific, spoilers and whatnot, but what the hell.
i didnt know how well the show would hold up, post-jimmy, but theyve done all right. that guy gyp was a great villain.
show is loaded with good actors, the writing is generally good, too.
i love the character of richie harrow, in particular. other standouts include mkw as chalky, and the guy playing rothstein.

@Scruff: If i was going to summarize my current opinion of the show it would almost be exactly like what you just said.
Harrow is probably one of my favorite characters ive seen in any show recently…ang Gyp Rosetti (spelling?) was a quite well written villain…didn’t really care for the ending of his story per se…
I watched all 3 seasons in a week and a half…shits like crack flavored pringles.
Game of thrones however is like cool ranch crack flavored pringles.

How do you edit titles on the new forum? I want to throw a spoiler warning in there.
Personally, I was really disappointed when they killed off jimmy, even if he is (literally) a mother fucker. He was by far my favorite character on the show.
Harrow would also be my second favorite choice…He is a killer, but he seems to be the only semi-morally grounded character. Show is chalk full of unsavory characters.
Even Van Alden, who was supposed to represent order and law, is straight up fucking bat shit crazy, flogging himself and drowning motha fuckas in rivers and shit.
The third season did have kind of an anti-climatic ending. I was hoping for a big fucking shoot-out. Oh well. It was pleasurable to watch rosetti die. Another straight up psychopath btw ie auto-erotic asphyxiation
As a side I was watching gangs of new york this morning, and happened to notice the actors that play gyp and capone are both in the movie.
Also saw rothstein in the newest Men in Black movie.
Very well cast show

you should be able to go into the category in this case Entertainment & Comedy Corner find your post title
on the left hand side by the name there should be a blue thingy put your mouse over it a little tool thing will show
click of it and it will open up a little side window with option and edit the title should be one
but i will change it for you
