POD sounded like Butthole live.....had to be the worst sounding band theve had at the Gathering.

Any would be dope:

Puddle of Mudd

Powerman 5000

Disturbed

Poppa Roach

Deftones

Rob

Foo Fighters

Mushroomhed

My best guess is that he's going to say that anyone he books is one of his favorite of their genre. He's never gonna be like "We just booked a mediocre rock band that I don't really like!" All the tweet confirms is that there is at least one rock band.

That being said, Puddle of Mudd would be cool. I really can't see someone as big as Foo Fighters being there, though they are a favorite of mine. I would still love to see Anthrax :-)

there mustve been worse.

couple of zug izlands performances were frighteningly bad.  actually, that applies to every zug izland performance ive seen, now that i think about it.

its P.O.D.

guaranteed. I have him on video saying that they were one of his favorite bands, and how he loved their song "Alive". The seminar group got quietish around here. Like when Madrox pronounced his affection for Linkin Park to an interviewer.

I redact my "guaranteed" statement. Im not confident.

if i was setting odds, theyd be the front runners.

the christian-rock thing actually works in favor of pod appearing.  what with all the lost juggalos n all.

yeah and im sure that disturbs you as much as me. may as well have Creed there.

P.O.D. used to have a huge black Jesus mural at their shows. thats pretty cool and sort of brave, I guess.

It would be awesome if they got MSI. J said in behind the paint that he still bumps them and they put on one hell of a good show every time

I absolutely HATED them when I saw them back in 99 or 2000 with ICP the first time and korn the next. I dont get peoples love for them but they are jon davis favorite band (or was in an interview some 10 years ago) and J??? I dont get it

yeah.  jeckel brothers tour, in st louis, they went over about as badly as any act ive seen.  bad as bubba.

seemed to me they were trying as hard as they could to piss the crowd off.  like they had written juggalos off as idiots three cities ago,  but were gonna be hacks and do the tour anyway, and get our money.

fuck msi.

out of all these ideas and speculations, my 'cross your fingers' pick would be body count.  but theyre world-touring right before then, i think.

rage against the machine would be nice, if wishes count for anything.

I think thats part of their shtick...which you bought into...I may be mistaken but it was kinda explained to me once I think.

My boy used to play one of their songs alot

I saw first hand how the piss off the crowd shtick worked...Once with Andrew WK and once with Tila Tequila...wouldn't recommend it either way.

"Somewhere theres a Waffle House thats severely understaffed right now" -OCJ to Scruffy watching a second stage act at the Gathering.

MSI treat all their audiences like that. It wasn't anything about juggalos. They're humor is in being antagonistic and off putting. They've calmed down a bit though in the past few years. I really like their earlier stuff but can't get into their most recent work. I'd enjoy seeing them at the gathering, I think.

I'm with you on body count. Ice T has played before, so it's not completely unlikely. And in may, they're playing with twiztid, KMK, and others in my neck of the woods at some festival. http://www.blazenglory.com/

I don't think he's going to tweet about every band they book though. I do think you're probably half right though. And the person who mentioned Zug. But it's fun to dream and get hyped up. lol.
