Thoughts….
His set was bomb as fuck imo. He did the majority of the set from the middle of the crowd…braved the pit and jammed from one end of the crowd to the other with just one body guard and a camera dude. I got pics ill post up when I upload them. He smoked weed from the crowd, got crunk as fuck and really won the crowd over. I was really hype to see Twista and Madchild but their sets were really lack luster, and wasn’t hype to see Waka or Flosstradamus but his sets were some of the best all weekend…weird huh.

Waka was one of the best performers at the gathering this year…someone tell PSY to bring him back next year!
Stitches was another dope performer and he said he wanted to come back next year…he just better play more than 5 songs next time around

Agreed, totally. When he came out, it was kinda meh and he was getting a lot of stuff thrown at him. But it was like a light switch flipped, and he knew he had to go HAM to win people over. And did he ever! It was a fantastic set! I was super impressed since I thought it was going to be kinda lame.
But the one I was most impressed with (of the performers I wasn’t familiar with) was Flosstradamus. They were excellent, and I love that they went on with the set despite the one guy getting hit. It was much more entertaining than I’d expected, and I’d definitely go see them if they came to my town. Much props to them for not letting the rock incident ruin the set for them.

I thought Waka was going to get booed off stage, but then he came out and totally rocked it
It was kind of smart for him to get off the stage…the people up close are probably his fans and it’s hard to throw shit at someone who isn’t on stage lol. And also I thought it showed respect that he acknowledged that half the people there didn’t know who he was as opposed to coming out on stage just assuming that we all think he’s the shit (like some artists in the past have done)…I sure didn’t know who he was until he was announced for the gotj
I’m not really a fan of his music but I think he had a good set at the gathering

People were definitely into it, I thought it was terrible personally. I could not for the life of me understand why people were giving it up for Waka Flocka but didn’t give a shit about Dope DOD.

I think his set sucked if he wanted to party buy a Fucking ticket and come party if you there to perform play your songs don’t jump in the crowd and let you dj do the second half of the shows ppl in the back had no idea what was going on plus his Mic was fucked when he was UN the crowd

The back? I was unfortunately next to him most of the time protecting my girl who for some reason loves chaos. He went almost all the way to the carnival rides and that was pretty much the back at that point. All the rest you said I in a sense agree with however that one part was what I liked about it…he made his way through almost all of the crowd.

I fucking loved Waka Flocka at the Gathering! I’m actually a huge fan of his and it was my 2nd time seeing him in concert lol people always tell me I’m weird when they see me in a ICP shirt n hat n my hatchetman tat n then say I’m a Waka Flocka fan lol then when it was announced that he was gonna be playing at the gathering I was super pumped n knew he’d tear it the fuck up n that he did. Was a lil worried at what the crowd reaction would be for him but I’m glad most Juggalos seemed to like him n I think he’ll be back again.
