I'm lucky enough to have some dark skinned ethnicity in my blood. I wear sunblock and burn the first day then I can just run around and end up looking like a mexican by the end.

i been mistaken as mexican at several shows.  aint even especially hispanic-lookin, just happens now and then.  

my favorite instance was at a wicked clowns from outer space show in saint louis.  kid comes up to me during what we now call faygo armageddon with a huge grin.  he had either a spectacular afro wig, or an actual spectacular afro. 

anyway, kid says 'wassup, homie!  were the only two mexicans here!' and gives me an enthusiastic dap. 

what else could i do, but say 'orale!' and smile back? 

 

but yeah.  sunblock good, when living outdoors.   

I have a homie that is dark year round, but he's white. When I lived in Charlotte NC i worked with a mexican that was more pale than me and they looked exactly alike.. Like their pigment got cosmically switched. hahaha
