I haven’t yet read Violent J’s book and I’m sure I missed where it has been mentioned but:
Can someone explain to me the significance of next year’s Gathering being the 17th?
Upon recollection (and watching videos), J seemed very intent on letting everyone know that next year is gonna be the 17th. Now, I’ve heard there is no chapter 17 in his book and I got “17 dead in the barrio” repeating over in my head but what’s it all about?
At first I figured he was just talking about the fact that the Gathering has been going on for THAT long but who the hell makes a deal out of the seventeenth year of something? I get the impression I’m missing something.

17 is a big number in the juggalo community because ICP only sold 17 copies of Carnival of Carnage in it’s first week inspiring the song 17 Dead.

Okay, thanks! I figured as much but I wasn’t sure if there wasn’t some other kind of explanation that was given in some way unavailable to me (ie his book ‘er whatever)
