I enforce this 100000000%. I am a Lyme sufferer. I didnt catch it until at least Phase 2, so I have "post-treatment Lyme disease". The spiroketes hide behind your cells and attack when they wish. They're basically internal bed bugs. Ruined my life.
I'm not joking in any way. I'm gonna be preaching about ticks and Lyme for at least 47% of the time I'm there. Another 43% of my time will he trying to kick it to Krunk. Poly proposals and such, ya dig? 9% of the rest is sleeping. The final 1% is The Magic Ninja Seminar.

Added to the growing list.
I'm absolutely getting a car pass, I'm not hauling all this shit. I intend to be more healthy in 6 months but damn, I'm only human. Considered tossing in with friends on a baller site but fuck it, if the camping is free I'll just do that and save some money.
Guesstimate right now, $500 or so. That's not considering anything I might by at the gathering, Which, I'm a cheap fuck so not too worried there.

Have you met @KingOfStatusB ? He is a big Lyme Disease awareness advocate. He wears the a golden crown at the Gathering every year. Goes around making sure people are aware of the dangers and what can be done do help prevent it.

So i talked to a friend of mine who lives in the area and i told him about the gathering coming and asked him about the local heavies and commuinity. He told me that they do biker rallys at the same venue and are pretty laid back for the most part. Basically he said they are use to the crowds so he doesnt think we will have an Oklahoma experience. After looking on the web I found a biker rally that they had there last year that is suppose to be like a Woodstock style Festival.

Judging by that pic of the other festival, I think we gonna have the parking lot party in the RV Ranch.
That other fest had shuttles to get around the grounds, I wonder if the will have em for the Gathering.

That is creepy as fuck, I love it.
Also I can confirm that there are biker clubs everywhere around here and they have festivals at parks and fair grounds multiple times through the summer.
They are loud, obnoxious, rowdy as fuck and never really get harassed. We're kinda the same so we should be fine.
For fucks sake we're both labeled as gangs.

I requested the time off work and it was granted to me, so I will be there barring any sort of illness requiring me to miss significant time from work between now and July 31st. It's only 1 state over from where I live, so no concerns on getting there.
