A lot of people have been talking shit on her and making threats about Tila-ing her but on the Rock it Or Sock it episode the other night, someone mentioned that it’s going to be her birthday the first day of the gathering. She’s not playing until the second night, but yo, what if anybody who went to her set -instead of being assholes- sang her happy birthday? Like, that’d be dope as hell and it’ll be something she probably remembers for the rest of her life and will easily be something that she takes home with her.
So yeah, this is me officially asking you guys, if you’re going to her set, spread the word that it’s her birthday and that at the end of her set instead of chanting family or whoop whoop, we’re gonna chant the happy birthday song.

The birthday stuff never works. Shaggy’s birthday usually coincides with their Fall Touring. Every city that has tried to do a Happy Birthday when they come out fails miserably. J usually does the “Birthday Bitches” song somewhere in the middle of the set and that works but the “planned” birthday song never does.
I think the chanting of “Family” is way better than birthday song. It’s an honor to be included in the family through the chant at the end of a set, but a diss if it is not done.

chanting family is cool, for sure, but I’m still gonna try and get this going. If we can get enough people towards the front singing it, most of whom we can spread the word to that day while were standing there, she would be able to hear it and it would be nice. We can chant family AFTER that and during her set if we want (or not if we don’t want to). I think that should be more organic.
I’m gonna call in to the juggalo show on thursday and spread the word, and then let it go from there. My tumblr and facebook posts have been getting shared and people are chiming in with support. If it fails, it fails but I just wanna do something nice.

As revealed by @cheshyr , there are so many other things to do if you don’t like her music. @chris , Go do those things instead so people who do like her music can enjoy it. I am not a fan of her music but there are juggalos that are fans. Why ruin the experience that some of the fam want to have just because you have different tastes in music than them?

I agree with @sean-law . I doubt juggalos are going to sing happy birthday. Just not the nature of things at the gathering. I never would even if I liked her stuff. Just tell her happy birthday if you want to when you see her running around the grounds. Plus when she plays after midnight during her set, it will be technically 2 days after her birthday… I just think it’s too forced at that point.
