It's been a long time coming. He's too good for them. Not that I think his musical career will go anywhere with out them, but he was the only member that wasn't a constant disappointment over time. If D-Loc was still rapping instead of yammering I might be upset, but his and Richter's tag team already died years ago. 

There's now no voice of reason in there to make them seem less psychotic. Of course their first response is "Well that nigga a junky neways LOL"

They're perfect now (perfectly awful); Brad is the 60 year old creepo who refuses to grow up and needs to feed off young energy to stay content, Loc's the ever aging manchild stuck in the body of a 12 year old boy who needs Brad's recognition as the star to feel cool and wields that around like a badge, and Dirtball is the ugly shitbag with no friends who just wouldn't go home but was dumb and easily lead enough to be a good prospect for replacing Richter.

I'll throw out my take on this shit even though we all have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, there have been a lot of revealing moments recently, enough for me to have an opinion.

  1st point-when Zinger put out his video statement(which I thought was totally credible) to address why he wanted to quit managing the Kottonmouth Kings , his main reason was he couldn't handle the guys being shitty to each other anymore. His other big beef was Daddy X wanting to get paid off SRH, even though Brad "Daddy X" had nothing to do with the clothing line beyond being sponsored by it. Daddy X's video statement in return was a bunch of bogus tough guy "Show me the books, Show me the books" type shit. My theory is Daddy X didn't save any of his money over his career, and decided turning on Zinger and trying to sue him was his best chance to get paid.

 2nd point-When Taxman quit he said he thought Richter was still cool but Daddy X, D Loc and Dirtball had turned into huge assholes.

 3rd point-D Loc is no longer going to pull in the ladies as ticket buyers to shows like he used to. He put out a solo video a short while ago called Dab city or some shit, where you can see homie is starting to go totally bald. He looked really old and tired in the vid, especially when he took his hat off. And there wasn't even any hot chicks in the crowd for the vid.

 4th point-Richter has apparently done well for himself with his Pipe and Bong Company "Richter Glass" , and he at least showed some character showing up to Pak's memorial show. I can see why he said fuck it to all the negative drama.

 5th point-more of a question, did anyone ever find out the real reason Daddy X didn't perform at the Gathering with the rest of the group this year?

Loc really does look old as fuck in all the new shit. When he keeps his had on and the camera is coming up from under and he's looking down on it, you'd never be able to tell him from Rollin' Stoned era, but when he takes the hat off and you're level with his face it's over. 
He's got this one video where he's in his kitchen carving pumkins, and man, I shit you not, it made me legitimately feel nervous/uncomfortable. Like, it sort of felt like what I imagine it felt like to grow up with the Beetles and then seeing Lennon shot on the news.

^there it is, at that time too. The camera even sort of dodges it but you can catch it. 
I mean the guy can look as old as he wants, I'm not saying he needs to look like he did when he was wearing spider legs, but his personality needs to grow up with him or he's just gonna turn into Brad X before he knows what hit him. I think, however, that he's got the type of personality that's actually authentic enough to him as a person that he could make it look good if he'd learn to take care of himself.

As far as Richter, he never planned on doing KMK in the first place, as stated in the dopeumentary, because he didn't believe it was ever gonna actually go anywhere. He doesn't strike me as the type of guy who would ever have left his future in the hands of Suburban Noize. 

A man who knows how to blow glass does not need the help of an underground touring circuit to get by.
