Groups like KMK were dragging a weed altar around the world way before it was legal anywhere in the U.S. (other than in Alaska.) Maybe now that state laws are easing up on possession it's easy to forget the impact those groups made in the fight to decide for yourself what to eat/smoke/etc. What's the next big thing, meth bands?

How is this even relevant right now? They're about a year late to the party. I liked potluck when I was 16 bumping those Humboldt County compilation albums filled with rich white weed dealer kids that thought they could rap.. Garth-Culti-Vader anyone? After they got signed I didn't enjoy their shit and stopped paying attention until they started to show up as openers. As far as KmK is concerned I stopped listening to them a while ago as well. After listening for nearly 15 years I can't tell their songs apart. I'm not sure if that's because they put out a greatest hits album after every full release or if it's because they just throw pre-released music onto new releases. It all just blends in to be the same shit. All parties involved are completely irrelevant still trying to hold on to whatever they think they are or were.
