madchild and swollen members are the main act on subnoize nowadays but Madchild seems bitter that he had to close BattleAxe records cuz of his drug problems...
now that hes clean, producing good music, hes bringing back the BAX warrior movment...
he doesnt call himself a subnoize rat or rep srh gear like kmk used to...i hope madchild gets back on his feet and gets his label running. he got wat he needed out of subnoize but he cant be rapping about sobriety on a label known for party music and pot smoking...
it would be like having a christian rapper on eshams label or somethin hahaha totally different beliefs. i know ur gonna hate on me for that, but its the truth and i wont agree with wat u have to say, ya he can have his own beliefs or watever, thats cool
but he needs to get back the battleaxe records and just leave the noize behind. it was cool cuz they found new fans and now juggalos know swollen, but u gotta be honest, swollen doesnt really associate with OUR world of music other than tech n9ne...its like la coka and swollen are friends and are just here to have distribution and shows to play...swollen is dope, but they aint part of our world like that, they dont associate with icp or twiztid, theyre on kmks labell and dont even associate with them, they are here on a pit stop and will probably leave and go back to hip hop shows and their world with dilated peoples.
i been a fan since 2000 when they were on the box music channel, i always thought madchild looked like d-loc in the peace not greed video lol cuz the box played them back to back sometimes

What is "our world"???? I like madchild and don't give a fuck what label he is on. It's all about the underground culture to me. If you are dope and you stand for things that I stand for, then you are ok in my book

ive been bumpin swollen for about 12 years now, since late 2001, i hear of them in 2000 when lady venom was on the box...Madchild is rejuvinated since he started doing solo tracks. its been a good refreshment to see him dive into the darker side of music and not worrying about radio play and they still got nominated for a juno recently for hip hop album of the year right next to bummble gum drake. thats a major accomplishment. i think its cool to see swollen be accepted by our music scene
that whole kevin zinger / daddy x drama really got under my skin cuz i live here in the LBC and KMK are local legends, we all smoke pot out here its just so god damn normal sometimes its mind blowing lol...to see kmk and srh splitting might be better for the kings cuz in 2007 myspace got overunn with the bro movement who took the D-Loc image, repped SRH but didnt have the values KMK preaches & its left a bad taste on their music cuz broes are associated with them when its really srh they liked.
when the broes started showin up at shows i saw the kings change bigtime.
they didnt really wanna come out and shake hands and smoke with fans cuz these new broes were just bullies and so called kool kids. rollin stoned was the last year of pure kmk fans and juggalos being their main fanbase. it was fun and they rocked the house. once the broes came and tried to claim their scene KMK looked miserable alot and stayed away from fans at shows and u can see the aggrivation in their personalities but they were making money so how could they really complain? it was weird as hell
i worked backstage for one session at all their keyclub and roxy shows in LA and u could see str8 up D-Loc walk in the backstage and just look around and left cuz all these broes were just assholes. i never blamed kmk for changing cuz their new fans didnt get wat it was about and most didint even smoke weed

i knew kmk was going south when daddy X was talkin about in Murder Dog how after months of making beats with kumagai he was tryin to get Loc and Richter into the studio to start work on No. 7 and they were just all scattered around LA doing their own thang and he had to drag them in to record. he even said the first vocals recorded for No. 7 was the tech n9ne collabo, "FTI 2" and tech n9ne was the first guy to actually lay down vocals on the album and he wasnt in the group. u could see that X was tryin to keep it movin. Koast 2 Koast is by far the absolute worst kmk album, after that they got super lazy. Mile High was a good step in the right direction. hopefully they can get back on their feet
