Wrote a review.
My copy arrived a few days after the release date, but honestly it was worth the wait. I have been listening to it nonstop and that has not happened with any album released in years. It delivers. Richter is on almost every track which means its Loc, Saint and Richter together trading verses, and everyone brings their best, no weak songs, no skits, no BS. It is apparent immediately that this version of KMK is as strong it has ever been, west coast rip hop, punk, reggae songs all well done on here without X or Dirtball, and they are not missed. The production is top tier, guests fit the tracks, and Loc does all the scratching which brings the next point.
A problem with the last string of KMK releases is that they seemed rushed. Interviews in the last few years revealed that recording was done remotely, and no one interacted. With a few years since the last album, and the recent interview with Loc describing a more cohesive recording process, it shows. The album sounds like they care, and that time was invested to make a solid record.
Call this line-up anything you want, KMK, KMK 2.0 (or 3.0, 4.0...), PTB, this is an incarnation that we never would have gotten if KMK stayed on the path it was. The result is the abandonment of the X-led Fight the Power angle, and three friends from OC making music that is going to be the soundtrack for many Summers of 2018.
It makes you wonder what is next for KMK. Will they be touring again, will this be the first album of a few more? We should hope so. With new Kingspade on the way, the future looks promising.

It's way better than I thought it would be.
And over 15 thousand ninjas have peeped it since it went up a few days ago, still a lot of KMK fans out there blowing smoke rings!
I want to score a hard copy at some point, fo sho.

I'm just now skimming through the album on Apple Music. So far, sounds pretty good. I hate to say it but Saint Dog sounds terrible. He's an absolute character on Royal Highness and really brought a lot to the table back then. Someone else pointed out in a different thread about their new single last month that it seems like he suffered some kind of serious head injury at some point in his life after Royal Highness. D-Loc still pretty much brings what he always has, but Saint Dog seems to be involved out of pity.

I Met D-Loc last time kmk played in seattle, dude was cool as fuck, he recognized me from being at all the shows, Me and my homies sparked up a fat fat Fatty spliff after the show in the bar, D-Loc and chucky were about to blaze up too, it was funny as fuck though, D-Loc was asking everybody for Papers, and nobody had any, and he cracked this joke about not being at a Kottonmouth kings show and bein' in a church or somethin', it was pretty funny, but we smoked out that whole bar, then Chucky Chuck Gave my homie hella fucking bud light lol, we totally scored hella free beer dude!...
anyway Hardcore KMK Fan, just wanted to say, I'm reading the comments and I'm about to listen to the new album, I think this shit will be dope. and yeah Dirtball is cool as fuck but jesus-fucking-Christ he shouldn't of joined kmk, don't get me wrong I Love the shit he did with KMK, I traveled to southern cali from Washington state to see KMK, but yeah I'm all about the old school, which is why I'm kind of trippin' about X not being on the album, 'cause let's really Jump in the Time Travel Jacuzzi, I got every Doggy-style album on vinyl. Met Lou Dog more than a few times, and where's bobby-b???
anyway Yeah fuck it, I'm about to peep it!

I really did not what to expect but my goodness, this is the best album this year so far - I def didn't expect KMK to release such a great record. Good for Loc on keeping the production top notch, the album sounds mastered properly and everyone came correct. The thing with KMK is they don't try to change a thing, it's like listening to KMK in 2000 for me once again. It gave me good vibes, positive vibes. Peace to KMK2K18 , hope they end up doing a tour with Twiztid in the fall.

They should just sign to MNE so they get proper distribution for the next record.
Nobody on Majik Ninja seems to be butthurt about their situation, George seems like a stand up cat.
If Violent J is right about George being born rich and running Majik Ninja as a hobby, then that's the best kinda boss a musician could ask for.
KMK would immediately move up to the #3 act on the label behind Twiztid and Young Wicked.
And if you think I'm talking out my ass about Otis, check out the dude's youtube views, his new shit gets numbers that crush most other underground rappers' these days, including ICP's.

I take back everything I said, fuck kmk and their bullshit
I don't support this nonsense, a lot of people STILL did not get what they PRE-ORDERED.
I don't care if your pre-orders exceeded expectations, that's what pre orders are for - you should've known, and pack your orders you do have and ship them out - instead of being on instagram with your girlfriend at restaurants.
no wonder snoop said fuck ya'll -- yes snoop dogg - did not want to record with kmk because " they sum whack mahfuckaz" - quote me - Toronto lot 332 dec 2010, me , snoop and belly in the vip. and I asked snoop why he never did a record with the cottonmouth kings
fuck it, peace to MNE
fuck a kmk
