KMKs image is wat made subnoize wat it is...they didnt wanna be gangsta like la coka nostra or swollen does sometimes...kmk was just suburban rap and that made most hip hop fans hate them instantly....
without KMK it shouldnt be called sub noize, just tha noize....
once they put out coka nostra, glasses malone and saigon i was fuckin confused as hell as to why some of these urban hip hop artists were put out by suburban noize records lol...sub noize was punk rawk california hip hop, just about smokin weed, skateboarding and having fun...it started to seem like the label was half all bizness like swollen and saigon...and the other half was the family roster with groups like kmk and people like Big B...half the artists are just regular rappers and that label name doesnt fit them at all
srh is wat they are today becuz of kmk gaining popularity out here in cali with the first kingspade album....
that got all the suburban kids in cali on board to rep them and dress like them...myspace was getting the bro scene out there with everyone dressing like d-loc and reppin the spade on their trucks, tats and profiles becuz of kmks music and just being proud 2 be suburban....
its like when twiztid came around with the braids, the style they dressed and lingo like "mothafacko" twiztid influenced the image of juggalos, same for kmk and the srh look...
you rarely see swollen or the other groups rep it, i dont see how srh is gonna get any gain from losing the band that gave them the image to market their shirts...srh is for dirtbike riders, surfers, stoners, and most of the time out here in cali the kids that like kmk are kinda racist and love kmk for just being white kids, they aint really into the pure hip hop like swollen and nostra becuz kmk talked about growin up in the burbs..
im very confused and hurt by this becuz X and Zinger brought our lifestyle out here to the masses. kids thought kali was all gangsta rap and the burbs were looked at as weak sauce, but subnoize went against that and was successful. im pist about this cuz i love kmk right up there with ICP, i know kmk aint wat they used to be but neither is icp, sometimes i feel like some of these artists just use subnoizes resources to feel like their music is still wanted and they dont need the radio, please....
i love madchild and swollen but they are mainstream to the music world, all those juno awards and hit albums in canada, kmk was just a small indy band, it seemed like zinger was all about swollen...swollen would leave in a heartbeat to sign to a major label that will kiss their ass
11:33 pm
without kmk on subnoize i guess swollen is the main act on the label...and they aint reppin srh or subnoize lol, they are all about battleaxe warriors...its like when tech came up with technicians...hahah ya right!!.....its just kmk and icp fans who follow tech n9ne cuz its wicked and its party music...regular hip hop heads hate tech n9ne for being weird, hes not trendy at all cuz he doesnt have r and b hooks,
swollen is dope but they aint wat subnoize is about, this modern subnoize label is like an interscope or basically a major label that just puts out music, its not like psy where u get a necklace and rank..subnoize was like that when it was kmk, too rude, corporate avenger...
once out side bands like Hed PE came over, they became a normal label that just puts out anything, its not even really underground music, this used to be a small world for our community, now its flooded with washups tryin to capitolize on us juggalos cuz we buy cds and go to concerts,
be honest about it like me...i used to see swollen on the box music video channel when they were major, they were a popular group, juggalo sites never followed them but once they got on the noize every juggalo site posts stuff for them, its really weird now without a kmk connection tied to them..we aint battleaxe warriors, we are juggalos and subnoize rats, its hard to say im a technician cuz i feel like that has to mean i love mayday, brotha lynch, all their groups...which i dont love as much as i love icp, twiztid, blaze...

kmk was on capitol records from royal highness to rollin stoned, capital was the distribution basically while subnoize made the kmk merch, took care of the tours cuz capitol records didnt even want kmk to tour!!! lol how fuckin stupid, even kmk haters admit after seeing them live, they can rock the house with the best of them!!!
icp and kmk on major labels were never a problem cuz they were like #50 on the labels roster...
they werent in the labels top 5 as a concern and got mass promotion, they were the small acts but they had a strong fan base and after the music bizz hit its peak in the 2001-2003 era with people goin 20x platinum, music went downhill so fast and kmk / icp had side labels already like subnoize and psy and kept doing just fine putting out music themselves with their small loyal fanbase...
the industry is so weak now, 60,000 gets you in the top 20 on billboard, now i always see tech n9ne, icp, kmk even twiztid on the charts cuz we still sell the 60,000 cds we always have been doing that the majors saw as a flop, but now that makes u a success lol,
without kmk i just dont see subnoize keeping the power they have, Big B / Potluck / Hed PE open up for artists on tour, they aint headliners, ya know?? swollen and coka nostra will bounce once their contracts are up cuz they feel more confident now having us juggalos and subnoize kids watchin their youtube videos and posting their albums on sites

they may be mainstream in canada not in and usa
and sry but mainstream and underground dont exist its more like major and independent
#2 —–swollen would leave in a heartbeat to sign to a major label that will kiss their ass
name one artist if offered a major label deal that wouldnt take it and go make more money (beside icp who already been on a few major labels)
and tha main reason swollen members and madchild and prevail as a solo artist are on sub-noize is cause they gave them a 50-50 deal which most labels major or independent wont give u
but i do understand what u were sayin with ur posts

back in the 90s being on a label was a luxury..
.they would give u a big budget for videos, tour buses and give u lots of money to record the album....sometimes they put too much money into projects and created debt..
.i liked when icp and kmk were on major labels cuz the overall quality of their music and their videos were amazing...
now its all indy and they can rush projects and not worry about things which give us more material
but we all bitch and gripe about missin the milenko ICP and the high society kmk when most juggalos dont factor in the fact they were on major labels and had higher standards to get their projects out...the music was just amazing back then,
kmk was told by capitol records they wouldnt release hidden stash 1, kmk had to sign to a beastie boys side label to put that out on the side...icp always did eps on their own labels, but u guys even know the EPs werent polished like the LPs they put out on the majors. today u dont need a label cuz they cant give u money for recording or music vids. u can just do it alone

that whole kevin zinger / daddy x drama really got under my skin cuz i live here in the LBC and KMK are local legends, we all smoke pot out here its just so god damn normal sometimes its mind blowing lol…to see kmk and srh splitting might be better for the kings cuz in 2007 myspace got overunn with the bro movement who took the D-Loc image, repped SRH but didnt have the values KMK preaches & its left a bad taste on their music cuz broes are associated with them when its really srh they liked.
when the broes started showin up at shows i saw the kings change bigtime.
they didnt really wanna come out and shake hands and smoke with fans cuz these new broes were just bullies and so called kool kids. rollin stoned was the last year of pure kmk fans and juggalos being their main fanbase. it was fun and they rocked the house. once the broes came and tried to claim their scene KMK looked miserable alot and stayed away from fans at shows and u can see the aggrivation in their personalities but they were making money so how could they really complain? it was weird as hell
i worked backstage for one session at all their keyclub and roxy shows in LA and u could see str8 up D-Loc walk in the backstage and just look around and left cuz all these broes were just assholes. i never blamed kmk for changing cuz their new fans didnt get wat it was about and most didint even smoke weed

i knew kmk was going south when daddy X was talkin about in Murder Dog how after months of making beats with kumagai he was tryin to get Loc and Richter into the studio to start work on No. 7 and they were just all scattered around LA doing their own thang and he had to drag them in to record. he even said the first vocals recorded for No. 7 was the tech n9ne collabo, "FTI 2" and tech n9ne was the first guy to actually lay down vocals on the album and he wasnt in the group. u could see that X was tryin to keep it movin. Koast 2 Koast is by far the absolute worst kmk album, after that they got super lazy. Mile High was a good step in the right direction. hopefully they can get back on their feet

Lol, so remember when kmk.threatened to quit and nobody cared?
Yeah, me neither, I'm glad i forgot about them.
Fuck them overpaid fake rappers, tho i did loove em on the first two lps and seen em in Chicago in 99, they were dope but shit got old.
RETIRE. They have more dope acts than psy so i can't hate on suburban noooize but seriously fuck kmk.
Thank you
