Tech N9ne is preparing his 13th studio album, Something Else, for release next week, but the indie juggernaut is already planning on not one, but two additional projects shortly thereafter.
During a sit down with Hive in New York City earlier this week, Tech revealed exclusively that he has a Rock EP and forthcoming studio album already in the pipeline. “November 5th I have a nine-song EP, Therapy. It’s a rock ‘n’ roll project,” he shared. Never one to slow down, Tech plans on releasing another studio album subsequently. “My next album is called Special Effects. I ain’t ever told nobody that. Soon as I get through Therapy, I’mma start getting beats.” The rapper has no firm date for Special Effects as of now, but given his rigorous workflow, it may be sooner than later. “You gotta keep moving,” he said.
What does the future hold for the always-busy rapper? Somewhere between recording and touring, Tech sees himself relaxing on a desert island a la the late Marlon Brandon down the line. “Five years from now, I’ll probably be on an island, that I bought” and then added, “with somebody beautiful on my face.”

I gave up on tech after 6's and 7's.
I'm tired of his half assed content every 3 months. Put ONE good album out, not 4 shitty ones.

cant wait to hear therapy..ross robinson is really good at getting peoples anger out..should be a good album..should get him to produce the next jokers card..get the clowns angry again..

This is why the quality of Techs albums have gone downhill. Hes keeps making them left and right. Already talking about his next project before his LP and EP even come out. Not big on rappers doing rock. So, I may have to pass on his rock n rock project. I think Techs just becoming a money hungry whore. 2 different tours plus two releases. I knew it was only a matter of time before Tech changed. Ppl talk about ICP being all about money. Techs the one constantly releasing albums and touring. Im curious to what the rest of Something Else will sound like. I like 2 of the 3 songs so far. Fragile was the one I didnt like. Only 1 more till I get to check it out.

i think tech has always been about the money ina way, just not in your typical sense of selling your soul to a corporate label.
i really like something else and fragile was one of my fav tracks.
everyone is moneyhungry in a way, icp are just more controlling then alot of other people.
ill be interested to hear tech on a full rock n roll project, for me nothing ahs been as good as little pills.
i think in regards to naming his next album, he prolli has a massive list of alubm names and is just picking off that list as soon as one project is done. its not like he has already started on it. youll prolli se it late next year or early 2015, so its not like he is gunna release another album by feb next year or nething.
i cant wait to hear the digital delxe etc tracks for something else, lets focus on the now.
