Should Twiztid sign to strange?

If they wanted to leave for Strange or any label, Violent J would be forced to pay them almost whatever they wanted to stay on Psy. Does anyone know roughly what Twiztid makes a year? Always wondered that?

I dont know how the math works but J and Shaggy both have net worth of 30 mil each so whatever that adds up to in yearly earnings minimize that by 10 times and thats probably what Twiztid makes

I love the speculation in this thread.

It's full of what ifs and purely made up stuff. Twiztid isn't leaving, neither is Blaze. If they did .. No one knows what any of them would do ..

And lastly ... No one knows how much anyone on Psy is worth ... And it shouldn't really be anyone's business. Here's what you need to know as fans.

They bought their moms houses. They own a record label ... But to just assume they have piles of money laying around is silly. Want some pure speculation I can do it with the best.

Maybe Sugar Slam has an older brother that is a stock market trader and all Psy's money is locked up being invested in Apple, and WWE stock ... This would explain why they want to drop physical cd distribution and the influx of former WWE wrestlers suddenly working for JCW.

See how that worked .. I just made that shit up. It's easy to speculate .. But until Twiztid actually leaves ... Or for some dumbass reason they start publicly discussing their actual bank account numbers that's all this is. Speculation. Period.

most entertainers have side projects that rake in extra cash.

Tech N9ne has invested in real estate over the past few years, he illustrates that in his 2008 Psychumentary DVD

it was more like 2005.

2003 was when the whole "Juggalo Scandal" was going on. and 2004 was when Lotus' second album came out

For those of us not so good at remembering shit, how about a refresher on the 'juggalo scandal'?  Are you talking about how people were mad bc they didn't use the word on the Green Book and/or the Majik Records fiasco?

he is referring to the whole majik records/tom dub bullshit. basically twiztid was very close to leaving the label. blaze had already basically left. it was actually 2004 when they became dons because twiztid was bragging about it at the 04 gathering. icp basically made them dons so they wouldnt leave ie. more control/bigger paycheck. so twiztid would only leave psychopathic if it went bankrupt....its there company too....

lets hear your thoughts lo's and lette's! In my opinion they would have a lot more freedom and they would be able to shine with there lyricism more. They would also probably be more prone to doing better collabs other than the other dudes on psy (not to mention better production as well). But that's only my opinion (part of it at least), so again. Whats your thoughts?cool

Twiztid has all the freedom they want on Psychopathic. That is why they luv being on the label. Hell they're more underground and wanna stay scrubbin evn more so than ICP duz. Wen ICP agreed to play at Woodstock way bak in 1999-2000 Twiztid wuz mad as hell at ICP. Twiztid said that that show wuz to mainstream and that ICP shuldn't evn being doing it. Also they wuldn't really have that much freedom on Strange. I say this becuz Tech N9ne has all of the cool shit on Strange and the rest are just there on the label to release music wen Tech N9ne says they can release music. Tech N9ne is the only artist who gets to release a bomb ass Deluxe Edtion out with a cool mediallion. The rest of the Artists aren't allowed to do that. I know for a fact thats how it workz cuz I threw it out there on Twitter towards Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko like 8 months b4 Kickin' & Screamin' dropped. I aske Kaliko if he wuz gonna do a cool deluxe edtion for Best Buy with like a cool Spider Mediallion or cool Spider Ring for the fans. He said it wuz a possibility. Then I asked again if the fans culd expect that cool Best Buy Delux Edtion then and he said no. Also if you look at it Tech N9ne releases all kinds of music out for Tech N9ne but the rest of the Artists are only allowed to release music wen Tech says so. Now don't get me wrong Tech N9ne duz a hell of a job promoting for his artists but there izn't much freedom there. Tech N9ne is the boss along with Travis and evry1 signed to Strange knows this. So I think Twiztid is happy being signed to Psychopathic Records. Not only that I believe if they weren't happy they wuld probably more than likely create their own Label and release music on that label becuz you know that Twiztid knows the ropes to the music industry and the indie labels. You wuld think they wuld know the ropes to the indie labels NE way being with ICP since 1997-1998. Atleast I think that is wen ICP signed them. Heres another thing you shuld know about ICP and Twiztid if you didn't already know, Twiztid wuz the first official Artists signed to Psychopathic. Hell they were even Signed to Psychopathic even b4 ICP wuz signed to Psychopathic. Wen ICP finally decided to create Psychopathic Records they were rite in the middle of their contracts with the Mainstream Record Labels. So Twiztid wuz seeing all of that Indie money from their Records they released on Psychopathic while ICP wuz stuck with the Mainstream Money they received from their Mainstream Record Label they were signed to. So if you as a Juggalo feel like Twiztid isn't as big as you think they shuld be well then get more of your homies to like their music and buy their albums. Its up to us Juggalos to buy all of these artists albums to make them Bigger nobody elses. Those are my thoughts on this subject. Whoop!Whoop!MMCL!

Well I wont say that I wuz there wen all of this went down cuz I wuzn't, but I will say that Twiztid wuz mad at ICP for playing the Woodstock show becuz that is wut Violent J said himself in his book Behind the Paint. Wen ICP agreed to play Woodstock ICP wuz so geeked that they went and told every1 they know and wuz trying to get Twiztid to play with them cuz ICP were doing there best to get Twiztid out there for the Juggalos so the Juggalos wuld know who Twiztid is and wuld like them too. Violent J said that this wuz probably one of the only times that ICP and Twiztid did not see eye to eye on something and they weren't speaking for like a week or so. Something like that. But otherwise all 4 of them Violent J, Shaggy, Madrox, and Monoxide are just like brothers who yes will sumtimes have a disagreement or even argue every now and again but wut family duzn't argue rite. So that is why I said Twiztid wuz mad at ICP for doing the Woodstock show.

Wut wuz it that needed to be corrected. I just stated my opinion and that is all. None of which I stated is a fact and I never said that they were all facts. These are just my opinions that I got from observing Strange Music, Psychopathic, ICP, Twiztid, Tech N9ne and that is where I got my opinions from. I wuldn't really consider my self young or old either and I don't know why my opinion wuld have to be corrected after all these are my opinions rite.

read behind the paint again j doesnt go in any detail about why they didnt see eye to eye & twiztid said in a seminar they didnt do woodstock cuz they felt they werent known enough & people would be like "what? twiztid was at woodstock?" so yeah if anyone was mad it was icp cuz they prolly thought it was retarded to turn that gig down

Better Collabs, if you were to stay up with wut Twiztid has been saying on their last tour they did with KMK on the Kaos and Kronic Tour, they did VIP Meet and Greets and in this meet and greet they had a cool 30 Minute Siminar where they basically talked about their up and coming album and did say that they have reached out to this artist and that artist and have for years reached out to certain artists that we the Juggalos ask Twiztid to collab with and those artists either Straight up tell them no, or say no in a nice way by saying yeah we can do a song with you but it'll cost you this much and that artist throws up this huge number which is basically way above Twiztid's Budget. So Twiztid isn't limited on their collabs just becuz they are signed to Psychopathic. They wuld also only get a certain amount of money for their budget on Strange Music or NE other Label that they signed to. So Twiztid has reached out to a lot of artists, but those artists get all big headed and think that they are way better than Twiztid and they get all Super Star on them. This is wut Twiztid has said at seminars, and through out the Kaos and Kronic Tour VIP Meet and Greet.

saying shit like twiztid were mad at icp for doing woodstock which was too mainstream & all that strange music bs isnt opinion youre stating it as if its factual

Hell they were even Signed to Psychopathic even b4 ICP wuz signed to Psychopathic.

this statement is fuckin retarded icp & alex abiss created psy in 91 (making them the labels 1st artist) around 96-97 they signed to disney/hollywood & finally reached mainstream success. around that time they met hok & signed twiztid & myzery oh yeah there was a group called "project born" that they signed in '95 so twizler was the 3rd or 4th act signed to psy
