It's a shame he won't re-sign with strange. If he stays independent I hope his products/projects are still high quality.

Ya, his comments in the article were odd... "I definitely wanted to make sure on this last one I kept giving it my best.”

Like, does he plan on stepping away entirely from the rap game? Or for an extended period? Does he plan to not give his best when he's off Strange?

Also, it states his contractual obligation is fulfilled. I guess that technically means he can re-sign if he so decides.

When Lynch's contract was up his quality went down hill fast, back to where it was before strange. I think rittz will continue to release stuff independent and shouldn't have trouble getting distribution. He moved a lot of units

Looks to me like he used Strange as a springboard (in a respectful way). 4 full albums in 4 years to fulfill his contract. I think he's looking for a contract with a bigger label now if I had to guess. He's popular in the mainstream and can make quality work in a relatively short time, so he could potentially make that work.

I think he just meant like he wasn't gonna check out just cuz hes leaving and put out some poop just cuz hes moving on.

Kinda like when u quite a job and its ur last week there and ur trying not have a half baked/scarface moment.
