For those who watched raw tonight. During the Danial Bryan/Kane V.S Prime Time Players tag match Jerry "The King" Lawler collapsed during commentary. They updated the fans at home throughout the night as well as stopped commentary out of respect for lawler. All the info can be read here.

Juggalos might remember Lawler taking part at both the 2004 and 2011 GOTJ during JCW Shows. Jerry Lawler is also a former AWA world heavyweight champion and tho he won't admit it. He's is one of the early names in the early days of Hardcore Wrestling when "The King" took on legendary Ultraviolent Deathmatch icon Terry Funk in the first ever Empty Arena Match in 1981. Lawler was made famous during the "early" days of sports entertainment when he fueded with the late comedian Andy Kaufman during the 1980's which also involved fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Jimmy Hart as Kaufman and Hart would found the stable known as "First Family".

Lawler has been married 3 times (the most publicized one being Stacy "The Kat" Carter). One of his sons Brian (Grandmaster Sexay) also followed his his fathers footsteps and became a professional wrestler.

Let's all give thoughts and prayers to Jerry Lawler in this time of need. Fight it king.

That's super cool of you to post this up! WWE wouldn't and will not be the same once Jerry Lawler is gone, hope this isn't the beginning of things to come. I was watching Raw tonight and was wondering if that tag match really got the better of him and caused a stroke or something like that but he handled the cage match with CMPunk fine (it seemed) so I dunno. Hope he gets well soon! Always been my favorite commentator.

Much Love!

He suffered a Heart Attack. He had to undergo surgery to put a stint and balloon in. His condition is listed as stable but he is awake and aware. Vince McMahon was at his side according to sources (if you can believe that one lol). Vince and Jerry do go back alongway and have been friends even before Lawler started working for the WWF.
