The problem with that is that you (along with everyone else who keeps making that statement) apparently think it's still 2005 and the Steelers and Ravens have defenses that instill fear in offensive coordinators. It ain't, and they don't. Definitely not the Steelers, the Ravens, I'll admit, are restocking a little quicker than I'd like on D.

I was hoping against the Manziel pick, but since it happened, I'm now hoping to be proven wrong. I was more in favor of them going for Carr, Garrapalo (sp?), or McCarron. But with the combination of his be-the-best mentality coupled with the draft position nosedive, perhaps he'll be doubly motivated to prove himself and it'll pay dividends. Who knows?

Best case scenario, he sits for the year and Hoyer lights it up. Paves the way for a Hoyer trade next offseason and opens the door for Manziel to start after sitting and learning for a year. At least, I hope this is the game plan.

Ironically, within one hour of the 1st round's conclusion, the Browns sold over 1,000 season tickets (new and renewals). If the plan is to sell tickets and merch, yeah, that's almost guaranteed. Personally, I hope that marketing machine can throw a goddamn football lol.

Actually, I'm a little too rabid as far as fandom goes, but I also don't shit-talk too much on other teams, especially those that perennially struggle - that hits a little too close to home lol. Those that are usually dominant that get the occasional piece of humble pie? Fair game.

I haven't had too many bad experiences with Ravens fans, come to think of it... Despite the teams hatred for one another (and my hatred for your piece of shit former owner whose grave I will, god willing, one day piss upon), I think there's a common thread between CLE and BAL fans that keep us from getting too agitated at one another - you, too, had a team stolen out from under you in the past; so on a subconscious level you know how we feel - and vice versa.

Steeler fans? Heh. I have YET to find ONE who can even hold an intelligent conversation, much less win a shit-talking shindig with me. Bandwagoners, damn near every one of 'em. If I can name more members, current and retired, from your team than you can... Or historic moments/accomplishments of your team... Sorry, you don't have much room to call yourself a fan. And that's how the overwhelming majority of them are. "One for the thumb!" Okay, fine, but can you name one dude on the team that WON that ring, and isn't named Rapistberger or Perm-amalu? Do you realize the dude who built your team is no longer the coach, and as the pieces he put in place leave, your team gets shittier and shittier? Quit talking like Tomlin is the next Lombardi - he inherited a team and hasn't done a goddamn thing to improve it since then.
