I'm hoping for a Blaz4me type of sound, i really am, i don't give a fuck about "Trap" or the suicide boys or any of that bullshit, I want that old school funk shit with crazy samples, kkkill the fetus type of shit, but here's the thing Esham is always inventing new shit, he's an innovator, but man just think how dope it would be if he went back to his old style of producing mixed with his "mail dominance" / "bruce wayne 1987" style

I wouldn't count on it. It'll be esham, but it won't be 90s wicket shit. He already said that.
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

This is a pretty good project! probably his best solo work since Venus Flytrap.. the beats & rhyme skills are pretty on point.. there's a lot of raps directed towards females but it's doesnt sound like a full on love project.. maybe if it had more songs like "Still Boomin".. it sounds more like a hip hop record with that general theme in the lyrics, a slight rock influence in some of the beats.. If I had to compare it to another project of his, i'd say "Sacrificial Lambz" & the good bombass podcast stuff..
the standouts on my 1st listen.. "Magical Thinking", "Prey to God", & "Still Boomin'"
random thoughts: "Mic Jack" has a fire rock infused beat.. the hook on "Unicorn" has a VERY similar flow as Eminem has done.. "Lost Souls" sounds like a mix between "Fade Away" & "Thanx", the theme of these 2 records reminded me of "Thanx" "But No Thanx"..

Good offering, but not great IMO. I thought his previous Dead of Winter was a much stronger release.
That being said, Esham is doing here what he does best and that's experiment with sounds and styles. Favorite tracks are:
Kat Cobain
Mic Jack
Prey to God
Unicorn (very MMLP Eminem sounding as Warlock pointed out)
Still Boomin
I shelled out the $12 for this, but at this point I'm up in the air as to whether I purchase the follow up in a couple weeks or just stream. Will keep spinning.

Ya'll seen E's new video? DAMN THAT GIRL GOT SOME BIG OL' TITTIES :)
haha when i first saw this video, my playback speed was up a couple notches, so it seemed like E was spittin' faster than he actually was, i was diggin' it... i'm still feelin' it, but i'm thinkin' damn...
other than that I was really diggin the Oven Mitt, you know, 'cause it's Esham puttin' it down 4 Michigan, i always love when rappers represent their home state / city.
overall, really diggin this album, I feel Like E is channeling his inner East Coast MC Spirit, a bunch of lyricism hip hop shit over jazzy funk beats, i dig it. E was born in new york / raised in Detroit NATAS Acid Rap! wicket Shit!
man I remember back in the day I had that Source Magazine which featured that NATAS/esham article... wish I Still Had it today but that was a long time ago...
oh yeah prey to god was the other song i was really feelin'... that bass is the wicket shit

She Loves Me Not, darker than disc 1. there's a lot less female/love themes & blatant rock infused beats.. the rhyme skills arent being flexed as much but there's several punches, through out the project, that are ridiculous..
favs/standouts: Superstitious, Enemies in High Places, Escape From Saturn
random thoughts: those background vox/sample on "Fire" are creepy af.. not after theyre turned up at the end tho.. which is pretty dope.. like I said in the vid thread, the "Heavy Mental" beat is crazy.. based off the titles 8 & 9 could've been doper.. "A.I." is a cunt hair away from being a fav.. I released a similar song last year called "Ethernet" so the concept isnt new & unique to me, like it will be for others.. $20 bucks says Bag of Demons is the next single.. He need to send that one to worldstar, haha.. plus a dope video could push it over to a fav.. the last 2 beats are pretty fire.. if "Lost Souls" is Thanx" then "Howl Dog" is "But No Thanx" ..
