I'm with Warlock on this. I think E's post-Psy career resulted in some of his best work, and that's saying something since so much of his catalog are undisputed underground classics.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I consider Sacrificial Lambz to be Esham's Magnum Opus. It's a Wicked Shit album through and through, taking elements of what made his older work great and updating it, bringing it fully into this century. He continues this vein of experimentation through his next handful of releases, and there's some good music there to be sure, but nothing since then has had the cohesiveness of Sacrificial Lambz.
Dichotomy was an ear rape sundae of the first order, with a flaming bag of dog shit as the proverbial cherry on top. I already dig these two singles more than that entire album. The above is admittedly pretty jarring, mostly due to the beat, but at least it sees Esham attempting to return to something more lyrical.

yeah i kind of agree.. like, i feel the highlights of the post psy stuff is better than the highlights of the 90's classics.. but the 90's albums are generally more consistent.. I love Lambz but it starts a lil slow for me.. i think DMT is really what Acid Rap is supposed to be.. While Indie Label's probably the most mass appealing/easiest to digest.. Dichotomy just felt so bland, as a return to the hiphop/rock style, after continuously building up with dope electronic shit on previous releases..

I dunno, Dichotomy isn't really bland to me, I'd see where you'd think that as it might have some generic sounding shit, but I think it was more lyrical than you all said. It's one if his more darker albums I think.
Edit: And all the singles to Scribble is gonna have me pre order this real soon.

My biggest beef with Dichotomy is that it had nothing that stood out in my mind. Esham consistently has a few songs that just get stuck in my head, but this is the only album where I can't remember a single one and I own the fucker.
I will always give him props for keeping things different, though. You can tell that he genuinely has a love for the music at its core, as evidenced by his diverse beat selection. Not everything is gonna be a hit but dude sure keeps it interesting.

Im the biggest Esham fanatic that I know and I always support Esham and RLP- but one problem I've always noted EVER SINCE he left PSY is that the mixing of his albums are absolutely horrendous(minus sacrificial lambz).
I know in a short YouTube interview he says he likes the distorted sound cuz it sounds more grimey but in all reality the mixing and possibly mastering on his newer work is hard on the ears...
especially that Martyr City album that came with the box set, and the "remastered" judgement day albums in that box set weren't even remastered...the volume was just turned up on the songs when they were put on em and it's not a very pleasant listening experience.
ESHAM WILL ALWAYS BE DOPE NO MATTER WHAT THOUGH ?

I don't even bother to listen.. he's pushing this album so hard, and the tracks he released has blown. I didn't even get to hear this one before it got taken down lol. probably glad I didn't. He's cheap, doesn't want to pay for mixing/mastering that's why it's not mixed. Everything post psy sucked but sacrifical lambz was dope.

I was never a huge Esham fan but of course respect him and can dig some of his shit for sure. But this song here is SO BAD. "Politicians full of shit, smellin' just like a tuuurrrrrrrdddd (literally holds that out for a full 15 seconds). He's a legend in this genre but is releasing shit that sounds like a kid just starting out in his parents house with a cheap mic and basic Pro Tools knowledge.
