They haven’t been mentioned in a long time, they released the remastered cd then it’s like nothing ever came from them.

I’d really like to hear some syn on Icp songs. I always liked when they collabed together. I never minded zug one bit to be honest, I enjoy there music.

I thought Cracked Tiles was pretty awesome, didn’t really care much for their follow ups. I did enjoy Syn’s presence on The Wraith: Shangri-la, I like ICP pairing up with him for choruses and things like that much more than what they do with Young Wicked.

So it’s too much to release a hatchet herald and say hey zug has left psy? or something? Doesn’t make much sense. zug is alive and well, they REALLY are in the process of slowly writing their next release, they already have a few new songs recorded. they’ve played a handful of shows in michigan recently, here’s a clip of them playing a new one the other week:

I think scruffys point was people who like zug will hear it from zug or will search it out. It’s not psys job to say what other people are doing and when they do say something people bitch, like with boondox and blaze.

I really dig ABK too, but I think he’s just being really lazy about it, or not satisfied with the product. J seemed pretty straight forward with his answer about ABK’s new album. Well at this point, maybe ABK doesn’t trust PSY to market it properly.

As for Zug, they said they’ve been trying to get Promised Land out for years. Hence why it’s gonna be 4 discs long. But they haven’t had a donation in over a month, I wonder if the album will still come out even if they don’t reach the goal?

Agreed! Who’s knows how much cash they would put in on the promotion for it too. Years ago ABK was ‘that guy’ at PSY. He had MAJOR push in the early days. I hope tha have nots comes out and is fresh with a big push behind it. We need something like that out of PSY these days. Something that’s just DOPE, great beats, good hooks/concepts ect. Just something that gets us talking and excited for. I like these dudes and want to see them excel….get some hype going! Not taking anything away from Otis, cuz he’s smashing shit right now!!! I’d like to see him do some production on that project too, not singing all over the hooks too….just do the beats. I like his vocals too, just not on this have nots album.

The difference is Twiztid gave Psy a reason to say it by making their own label. Maybe if Zug Izland gets its own momentum an announcement will be made. (They don’t seem to have left as much as moved into Psy’s basement.)

I don’t intend to be captain negative here, but Zug’s gofundme is still stuck at $340. I think it would be a fair assumption at this point that they aren’t going to reach the goal (10 K), and Promised Land isn’t ever coming out.
