Fueled by a debate in another thread and reading some of peoples thoughts on the new card and old ones,ive seen a great many opinions of what the cards mean either officially or personally…..these are my thoughts and opinions on the Joker Card and there means….i gathered this information from ..Songs…Liner notes…Interviews…Seminars…and just all round common sense.
The Carnival of Carnage : Represents Judgment day, the end of times…this is when everyone is judged on how they lived their lives, their sins are accounted for….and sentencing is passed.
The Ringmaster: i wasnt 100% what he did until Shangri-La dropped then i leaned towards GOD as the answer, hes the head guy that runs the whole shebang.
The Riddlebox:to me he was always the Judgment passed down, he was the final answer to where you went, when you turned the crank it could go either way…
The Great Milenko: ive always felt that Milenko showed you illusions to guide you towards the right path, like the Ghosts of christmas Past Present and Future…he shows you multiple outcomes, that only you can decide on.
The Amazing Jeckle Bros.: I feel as if they are with you since birth and their light represents your soul, their juggling act is the accountability of your sins…each ball is another sin added, untill there is too much shit to handle….and Jack is temptation, Jake is your concience.
The Wraith:He is sent to take you to your final place for all eternity after you are judged, He is the Reaper, he Delivers you to Shangri-La or Hell’s pitt..
Bang, Pow,Boom: Honestly im not sure wtf he does….i know hes a force of destruction, but as to what message, idk….
The Might DeathPop: this one is clearly an Anti-Yolo Message….its about not taking the life you have for granted by risking it on stupid gambles.
The Marvelous Missing Link:…so far all i gather from the revealing song is…”what goes around comes around” which sounds like it deals with Karma…Do unto others n shit.
Well thats my thoughts on the Joker Cards….its up to your own Personal opinion what the card say to you and how to live your life, but im betting we all agree they tell us to live our lives the best we can, and not to be a doucebag.

ive Bought the CD’s ive read the storied Rob (Jumpsteady) has written..they are nice n Fantasy/comic bookish …but im not talking about Literal Translations of whats in the books…im talking about the underlying message…most are warnings….Im talking about YOUR interpretations.

Lucky, i dont think ANY of the Cards are meant to be Evil….the are a force that can be used for good or evil, it depends on you and your actions…..Mostly they are told as Spirits of Vengeance…If you fuck up…you will see their faces.

BPB wasn’t considered a joker’s card until months after it was released and they decided to do a second deck. It was originally just a side show to the dark carnival and they went on record denying it was a card. So personally I consider MDP the first card of this new deck since it was created to be one.
As far as what they mean to me, dope shit to look forward to and memories of my life. It’s weird I never really cared too much about the lore of them but I look back at my life as eras of each card. Basically My interpretation? Magic, pure fucking magic…. and cool gifts from God.

i actually wrote a short story on this, it was a man’s trip though the DC being judged, though the eyes of a piece of shit, i don’t think i finished it though… ill have to find that shit and see where i left off XD i know i was pretty close to being done, but with this new one ill have to wait and see where it fits in and add to the story.

Carnival of carnage- the embodiment of the dark carnival. A traveling circus that tortures souls on their way to hell.
Ringmaster- the leader of the dark carnival. Traps souls in wax determining the length of stay in the carnival before being delivered to hell. He is in charge of the carnival but not heaven or hell. He does not decide your ultimate fate.
Riddlebox- purgatory or the gateway to the afterlife.
Great Milenko- necromancer, has control over the dead through magic. Casts illusions testing weak minds, daring them to sin.
Amazing Jeckel Bros- juggling duo, pretty self explanatory. Jake the just and Jack the sinister, drop the balls of sin and you die.
Wraith- Grim Reaper, collects souls and guides them through the afterlife whether shangri la or the carnival on their way to hells pit
Bang!Pow!Boom!- when the carnival is over stuffed with souls and cannot do its job properly he wipes the grounds clean sending all straight to hell.
Mighty Death Pop!- a wicked clown that feeds on reckless souls and has the power to kill which is why j probably said he is the most dangerous card bc he has the power to kill and no other cards can touch you when alive except for the wraith who shows up when it is your time(ball drops). Mdp probably causes Ajb to drop the balls when he attacks.
this is more of a literal description. They each have a unique message and don’t have to be taken literally but metaphorically. Punishment for sins, defeating ones own evils, purgatory, having a conscience, yin and yang, physical form of death, Armageddon, paying for reckless decisions, etc… Just my quick thoughts
