Here’s the thing with AMB. I used to think they suck, they are horrible, they are balls or whatever, but I have realized something. They actually put out some ok music, their problem is they are incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes they will be amazing, half the time they will suck dick.

My shining example is their feature on The Harvest. They both kill it, until the last verse… The dude has an amazing meter going and is ryhming well, then all of a sudden he fucks it up saying “button up my coat and disect your throat!” and then it all falls apart.

On a side note I believe I know how amb got their name. Its from the movie frailty. Its about two brothers helping their dad “destroy demons” aka kill people. The axe that they use has otis carved into it and they are dubbed the “gods hand killer” by the press. Dope fucking movie

that movie came out in 2001.. they had 3 records out by then.. their name was inspired by the ICP song “bring it on” & otis got his name from otis redding back when he was like 12 haha im sure that movie helped inspire the name for the gods hand record tho.. AMB talked about that movie in a somewhat recent interview with carnivalspirits..
